Because Partisan is a political term Darkflow refuses to use because of the controversy. Werewolf is a SS special forces infilitrator unit. They tend to twist things, as well as avoid very sensitive topics like WW.

Like what AugustSheep said, darkflow typically "tries" to avoid directly mentioning SS or any of the problem organizations at the time, the only exceptions being Hitler "As there is literally an area in the map Reich chancellery called "Hitler's Office" As well as Stallin's name which they dont even directly say in english as they only say his name in russian on one of the T-34 variants in the game called "Za Stalina!" Grafiti on the side of the tank that translates to, "For Stalin!". Anyways basically even discord servers directly partnered with Darkflow/Gaijin such as majormcdonalds server, have anything and everything offensive related to ww2 set to auto-mod, where the bot will block your posts from being posted on the server if spoken in english as far as i have seen. Honestly seems a little silly from my point of view as ww2 happened almost 100 years ago at this point so none of that history should matter now yet so many crybabies still whine about how offensive any of it is. Can't even have a civilized discussion about ww2 to another history buff without someone freaking out and calling you racist for simply talking about history.

Honestly i can see this being fairly frustrating especially for newer players who arent as confident in fighting as infantry in normal matches, and one of the only ways most new players can still grind research exp is to basically camp or use a tank. And its already frustrating enough when you get sniped by a bozooka/panzerfaust, or even just getting deleted from the 250-1000lbs bombs being dropped near you. And sure there are going to ge plenty of people that are going to go "Oh but why not play the objective you will get billions of research points doing that!". No. Simply putting it there are hundreds of sweatlords on daily that make it their mission to make your life as miserable as possible to the point where you cant even spawn without getting squad wiped 50 times in a row. All BR's by the way if the stack is sweaty enough. Because its either A the americans are dominating the sky 100% of the time making it impossible for german/Japanese/Italion players to bring in CAS when there is some asshat spawnkillimg your planes by literally flying in circles behind where your plane spawns. And B, then you have the other CAS mains nuking half the map of all your team and tanks with Hvars/M8 rockets, especially when they continue to plane cycle. And yes even after the plane cyxle nerf they can still do it they just deliberately wait until they get hit once then crash or just keep CAS'ing until they die then whip out their new shiny plane than knock you out of the sky in 1 bullet. Not to mention those times where even if by some miracle you havent been shot down yet as a CAS player against the americans, it their planes can magically tank over hundreds of rounds worth of hitmarkers and still keep flying but the moment they turn around they can instantly destroy your plane in 1 shot. What kind of balance is that?.

The German force here is likely supposed to be the dreaded Werwolf force of saboteurs and terror units that operated behind enemy lines, including against the Americans. In the end the Werwolf didn't accomplish much other than a few bombings and assassinations, simply because allied intelligence usually was a step ahead of them. That didn't mean they didn't cause significant worry and fear among allied troops in April and May of 1945. Also they likely aren't actually using the name of "werwolf" because it was closely associated with the SS.

I mean I guess it's one way to "address" the gray zone problem. In all honesty they didn't do much about tanks themselves, and I personally believe it says something that to counter the gray zone problem they had to introduce an entirely new CLASS. But luckily this won't just be an event/premium class and I hope it will be integrated into tech trees soon. (After they come out of course I don't expect them to be there immediately)

Tried coming back to this game after half a year, never been so miserable. Not even 5 minutes in and I wanted to delete it, gave up after less then a half an hour because of how pissed and bored I was. Probaly not coming back to it again, even if they give everything to me for free via some account with maxed everything and premium everything. It’s just too fucking miserable to play. Feels like the should have been a perk vs a whole new class. This is going to bring a lot of problems on maps where spawns arent far from the actual objectives, some almost right on 100m. The squad itself will probably be similar to a medic squad with that itll only be the guerillas and be like 5 guys. A perk that any person in a squad could get would be way more versatile while also allowing a way to deal with grey zoning. Thoughts?

I think Partisan won't be able to spawn at the midst of enemy formation, that would be OP. instead, they only be able to enter greyzone much furthur than regular soldier so they can flank more effective than any other squad.

I would think the event squads will be allies and Japanese so could only have 2 squads of each counting the tech tree unlocks. I might get the squads for the price it’s not too bad but I can imagine the bots will target you pretty quick in the grey zone as you will be closest to them.

This is a ill thought of addition.. it's gonna ruin so many an average noobs experience. A tryhard with his Squad able to operate in the enemiy zones, with a warehouse full of explosives and limitless ammunition? Yeah it's supposed to be Guerilla, Dudes with little training and armed with whatever they can scrap together setting ambushes behind enemy lines to disrupt and then quickly scurry away.. These Squads will be used like Special Forces Rambo wreaking total havoc.. You know like how they say, I don't see a problem.. I see a Problems, chaos carnage problem

Then on the 21ths It traveled to Dessau where It fougth a non identified German tank called a Tiger 2 After the facts called a Tiger by the crew and most likely a Panzer IV

One thing I liked about Enlisted compared to Battlefield and other similar games is that it gave me a better sense of a front line. In most situations, the directions enemies come from makes logical sense. With this change, it sounds like now I will need to be constantly expecting attacks from all angles, which detracts from the immersion.

Unlike world war 1 where the frontlines static and occasionally moving, the frontlines of World War Two were more dynamic constantly shifting and if I recall correctly Japan at the very least was known to leave soldiers behind when retreating to cause trouble for the U.S. forces

@@Raph-ug6ll besides they arent. airborne troops sole use, was to attack and capture key positions, BEFORE THE ENEMY HAS A CHANCE TO MUSTER UP A DEFENDING FORCE. the second the enemy expects airborne troops, theyre dead. thats mainly why during ww2 not a single paratrooper attack ever worked. even the best one to have worked, operation market garden, was still a complete failure at doing really anything besides being an annoying pest in the german rear guard.

France and Polands army put up a solid fight, but without radios and proper communications, the Blitz and Rommels Ghost Division overwhelmed their defenses. The French and Polish resistance fighters put up a great fight with a lot of sacrifices especially in the Warsaw Uprising. The Soviets sat on the other side of the river and watched the Germans wipe them out before they moved on (because Jew hatred wasn't just for Germans at that time)

As a free-to-play player, I am a bit worried about how Gajin will handle the squad. It would be nice if the games had some kind of warning of when they spawn. While I never do grey-zone tanking, it is still gonna be terrifying if a group of approximately 5 with powerful SMG just spawned near my rally point. I mean paratroopers have a visual sign of when they spawn(you can see them where they land), which doesn't make it that op.

If the squad is small enough it can’t do much against the enemy behind enemy line and it would be more beneficial for it to be a small squad as tanks have a lower chance of spotting you before you reach them you also must take into account the AI is suicidal at times
