I love the way partisans and Italians they good look. What great battle report. What is your advice playing Italians as partisans i was doing a list where they fought germans on the greek island or liberation of corisca. I was wondering what rules needing to do that

The book you'll find the rules in is armies of france and the allies! I'd recommend not using panzerfausts in that scenario as I dont believe they were issued widely at that stage, if at all! Cheers mate :)

Yayyy! Partisans... I was hoping to see squads of pistolieros swarming across the table. Or some marksmen units perhaps picking off NCOs. Didn't see the hidden bombs (well hidden then!) No outflanking units using infiltration and local knowledge... But no :( all the best bits of playing a Partisan army left out.

We're just getting started mate! You know I'll be sharing that journey with you guys, so any advice much appreciated. Argh how did I forget those bombs though, lesson learned!

Very nice. I'm building a partisan army myself right now. I'm not a 100% sure and I don't have the rulebook with me right now, but if I remember correctly only one Guerilla Fighters squad can be taken in a partisan platoon, but I also believe that the panzerfaust guy can have the panzerfaust in addition to a rifle or smg.

Hi mate, in their specific selector you are limited to one squad of guerillas, but in generic reinforced you can have up to 5 squads!

Don’t cav have to dismount when there fired at?

No, they can do a 'recce' type move IIRC. But if given a Fire order, their carbines fire as rifles, as they are considered dismounted, but if dismounted, they cannot remount for some reason.

@@VioletMoonMedia cavalry carbines are treated as pistols on horseback or as rifles if dismounted pg 89 of the MRB.
