Now that I think about it, the partner in Super is a lot like Zelda in Spirit Tracks. She's more enthusiastic compared to other incarnations of the character, and she's the character who gets talked to the most in cutscenes, while the protagonist stands there and makes awkward faces. Or maybe I'm just incredibly biased towards that game.

Honestly, as much as I love the partner's and their various personalities, Super's was the one I felt the weakest connection to. Not to say I didn't love the rascal, but you never build, due to the lack of alliance you build a bond (for instance, in RT/ RTDX your partner gives you shelter and is there to cover your back.)

Had to play the game 3 times to finally beat destiny tower and get arceus. My first duo consisted of charmander and mudkip, second was fennekin with riolu and my most recent one had treecko with oshawott. Gotta say I only really used shedinja, gardevoir and meloetta to get through the tougher dungeons though.

Of course, it would sound like the final boss theme, or so people say. But think about it like this. I haven't played the game yet, and have avoided spoilers where I can. I have not analytically listened to the final boss theme (I may heard it here and there, once or twice) and so it would be almost impossible that I've intentionally referred to it here! (: The end is a reference to a well-known PMD track, and it is not from GtI. Keep guessing! XD
