What a legend, Toulouse fan here, we're so glad to have him in the squad at the moment !

One of the things that comes through all the interviews that French Blair and Jack Willis give illustrate wonderfully what the tightly knit, family culture that exists at Stade T. Shows that even with professionalism, rugby can still remain the ethos of the amateur era and that makes it so special. Taking care of retired players, ensuring friends and family are actively involved, etc all reflect so positively on Stade T and no doubt in part explain why we are so good!

In Toulouse and its surroundings, there are many english speaking people, mostly because of the aerospace industry. Some foreign players stay a long time with the club, even with the staff at the end of their carreer as players, some are living in Toulouse. Joshua Brennan is Trevor's son, he joined the academy at 12, played for the senior team at 19. Maybe we will see a Kinghorn and a Willis (boy or girl) with the Stade Toulousain in 20 years.

@@jean-pascalesparceil9008 what i meant is that if france appeals to foregin players to stay and raise their kids, their depth talent 20 years later like posolo get huge!
@jean-pascalesparceil90087 ай бұрын
@@iamnutty8471 Sure, but sons of foreign players are a drop in the river of sons of French players: there are already enough sons of former French internationals to form a squad of 15 players in the Top 14, and more in U18 and younger.

And now a second title, with a try, in the Top 14 final!. His stats since he played with ST: 14 matches, all victories, 7 tries, 3 tries assists. I am pretty sure the club want to keep him for more years and is ready to release him to train with Scotland for the WRG in Australia.

TOP14 is much more crazy for french supporters than European cup (which making less and less sense with all around the world teams). It must have been a hell of a party...

@@quadswithmods haha sorry I thought it was a genuine question 😅 as a french myself I wanted to help a potential lost french soul A dragon is a perfect fit for Mister Blair Kinghorn (even though dragons do not ride zebras in tales, it must be because they would be too powerful). Love him and Jack Willis at Toulouse, strenghening my love for Scotland and (might) making me reconsider my playful rivalry/hatred for England 😂

It's is a gamer tag that Blair gave himself, named after Smaug the dragon from The Hobbit, and it's stuck as his nickname
