Maybe the audio for these videos should be processed with a low-cut filter. Listening to this particular vide in my headphones I can pick out a distant subwoofer playing through most of the lecture. Other than that, I always enjoy to see isolated queen's pawn games, particularly those with with the d5 motif, and the second game in the lecture sure delivered.

@edwardbottle10188 жыл бұрын
He's done Robert Byrne-Fischer at the 1963/64 US Championship, he's done the "game of the century" in a kid's class, and he's also done a Petrosian-Fischer game but it was in his Legends lecture on Petrosian so it was the game Fischer lost.

Ben has reached his peak rating in 2006 and became a grandmaster in 2009. I wonder why he always talks about how he used to be good in 80's and 90's.
@edwardbottle10188 жыл бұрын
The short answer is that this is Ben Finegold and he's never being completely serious. A better answer is that his games from the 2000s are very boring, dry and technical (take all your pieces when you've fallen asleep, as he puts it). His games from earlier in his career tend to be sharper and more enterprising, so when he wins, it looks like he calculated well and won brilliantly.
