Butterflies lay their eggs on some of the herbs, and the caterpillars will strip the plant of all of its leaves. I personally know that dill and parsley are host plants to some caterpillars.

Since you live in the South, you’d love the latest appetizer my son in SC made when we were there this Winter. So you’d slice jalapenos in half, long way. Take seeds out. Fill each half with pimento cheese, then wrap a piece of bacon around each. I place each on a cooling rack that’s on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350-375° for about 20 minutes. Then the last time I made them, I broiled them just for a few minutes (watching them closely) to get the bacon a little crispy. For those that don’t like jalapeños (actually, they’re not very spicy), you can use the bag of small red and yellow peppers. I don’t like spicy, hot food, but I LOVE these!

Tell Bunky next time he plants anything to put the pot in first and pour the soil in around it.rhen take the pot out of the center.you will have a hole left in the soil the perfect size of your pot .then take your plant out of the pot and plant it.

Wow ... what control. I would have pulled over and ate that chicken in the car! Bloggers are so fortunate to get all these gifted things from sponsors. The standing herb garden is perfect! No stooping over! I too love Traders Joes tabbouleh... I add a chopped cucumber and black olives to bulk it up. I am also obsessed with dill! Dill in sour cream as a dip... dill in my egg salad on buttered toast, dill , garlic and lemon butter on my salmon... and I make a mixture of crab ,dill, garlic, mayo, mozzarella cheese and grill it on sour dough as a crab melt. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Happy Birthday, Jessica! If you have too many herbs and they are growing faster than you can eat, dry them in the microwave or oven and keep them in a dry storage container. That way you can keep using them. Great video as usual!

I loved the McDonald’s salads! Such a great healthy choice for fast food. Where is the BBQ fried chicken place? I might have to drive there to get it. It looked delicious! Baby showers are so much fun! There’s nothing more precious than a new baby! My cousin’s baby boy died Christmas night. They were obviously devastated. He was only 1. They just found out they are having a baby girl. That baby will never replace their little Carter bug but I hope she helps heal their broken hearts!

You need chives too. I don’t have luck with dil. It’s gets burnt or something. I’m like you I love fresh dill. We grew dill in a aero garden on our dash board of our Motorhome. It grew like crazy in the aero garden but not in the ground at my house. Good luck

Potting hack I saw and it works!! Place a little soil in container, place the empty plant container in the middle, finish adding soil all around… slowly remove your container, perfect size hole for your flower/ plant … 😊. YW

trader Joes has the best stuff there , out here in So California the flower assortment is amazing. Love getting avocados there. Where does Bunker work? It's easy to plant herbs in the soil. Up in 10 days after planting. Thanks for the video
