While I would generally agree regarding the pricing strategy, the trap that I’ve seen most people fall into is that they don’t know how to or are hesitant to raise their prices at the appropriate time. So they fall into that spiral you described, unintentionally. If you undercut your competitors by $1 and stay booked, your brain will get that dopamine hit and it will be hard to move the appropriate price. And when they finally wake up, they’ll start inching slowly toward the right price rather than making the jump. Hopefully videos like this will serve as a reminder. Classy video.

Hey been following you and you have helped me out a lot starting my business. Quick question where do you get replacement leg caps for the white fan back chairs?
@Lawngames4you7 ай бұрын
I invested in a 3D printer to help with all the random replacements I need that you cant just buy anywhere

Currently in the process of making a business plan to start a rental company, one question I'm struggling with is where did you find your employees to help for setting up tents, and labor for set up (if you offer it).

How much should we be spending on a REALLY GOOD website? That’s what I need next.
@callmesmilez13467 ай бұрын
How is the website able to pickup if the item is rented? And not allow another customer to double book? For example if someone books the only 30x60 tent you have will another customer be able to pick that same tent for the same day at a different time or same time. I’m asking because I don’t allow my customers to book online because I’m afraid two people will book the same item and mostly I only have one of each item or package

When you first started, did you have a client contract?
@Lawngames4you7 ай бұрын
Interested to hear what he says. I did not. I just got started and charge a breakage deposit. Once I had increased my stock and orders got much larger, I added contracts

where do you buy your fanback chair from?
@therentalguy7 ай бұрын
I’m in Canada. Special Event Sales, Nation Event Supply among other places. Just google buy Fanback chairs for the event rental industry and get whatever’s available in a close proximity.
