Those disposable dehumidifier cartridges can be reused so not a single use plastic. Cut the cloth top off, empty wash out and then you can use crystals in them. Kontrol Krystal 2.5kg bags are around £8 on black friday and can fill about 6-8 of those cartridges.

When we had a static caravan and shut it off for the winter I was going to put those dehumdiers in when someone told me just buy a bag of cat litter, it does the same job and cheaper just keep your tubs and try it.👍🥰

Dan for the cooking. Do it all from the prep to the dishing up. Make it into a cooking video. Slow cookers are surprisingly versatile. I've cooked stews, casseroles, curries and then things like lasagne, pasta bake, whole joints of meat and chicken, boiling bacon and more besides. Only thing with meat is you won't get a crisp skin but can blast it in the oven or airfryer to finish it off if you want that kind of finish. If you do something like a pasta bake or lasagne, you can use less liquid as it doesn't evaporate as much as a regular oven. I do them on high and roughly double the time. Does it feel very different when you head out in the car as opposed to your motor home? I assume it must be easier not having to work out if you have enough room to turn or no low barriers to get under.

Mazzy top and rail your leeks cut them up small put them in a zip lock bag and freeze great for quickness just take a handful out when needed, quarter your turnip peel it slice it thin cook till soft drain add butter and mash it. Same with your peppers chop them up small and freeze.,,👍🥰

Dan get your eyes looked at because glaucoma is serious. You may just need some eye drops or an eye treatment. My husband has glaucoma in one of his eyes and has to use drops and every so often he goes in to get a laser treatment which isn't painful and is done in the Dr's office. If you don't get it dealt with you may lose your vision which would totally suck as the pressure in your eyes builds up and damages your optic nerve.

I have just brought the corsori pressure cooker, after butlers Empire advice on how good it it, I have always been scared of pressure cookers after years ago, my mum had an incident with one of the old fashioned type . But it is brill, and cooks things so fast, and .the food is perfect, would definitely recommend anyone having one. A stew in 40 mins. Think of the fuel savings. Have you ever tried the sweetheart or some call it pointed cabbage, I think that’s favourite. my favourite. Worth a try if you haven’t, takes so much nicer, Your food choices look very healthy Dan. Hope you enjoy. You could maybe make yourself a nice cottage pie in the slow cooker. Cook your mince then add mashed potatoes at the end. No Massie Dan wants the glory of tasty food. Hehe. I don’t find Lidl’s veg keep very well. But I think they do a toast at the till end you can buy and that’s got veg and fruit in that’s almost. Out of date or damaged, but good price I believe. Never had myself. However many thst have say it’s good. Different boxes have different things inside I think. I think you should do the first day Dan , good practice. No you leave the top on. It soaks through. X even the blue top stays on.

Hiya Dan and Mazzy can I just say you are going to love your slow cooker I use mine all the time on a morning I put everything in and it cooks beautiful every time I would say your meats i would brown them off bit it also helps bring out all the fat juices so thy aren't going in your casserole stews ect another tip dont add any frozen vegs to your slow cooker I only found this out last year cos after few hours of it cooking I thought I'd add some frozen peas so I googled it and its a massive No No something to do with bacteria....... Yes we are a massive fan of dehumidifiers in our Van thy are brilliant. I vote you Dan to cook give Mazzy the day off cook her a lovely casserole yummy I do a veg one pot its gorgeous its basically a pot full of yummy veg so tasty and I use stock pots to make my stock with thy brilliant pop one in a jug with boiling water and stir till it melts and it makes life easy .... If you have glaucoma you should really get it sorted, it’s only eye drops, but it can save your sight. I know because my husband has it. So easy to sort out now before it really affects your vision…. Hope this eases your mind about treating glaucoma.
