In this Party Wall Surveying Video, we discuss the Party Wall Surveying Procedures that a building owner needs to legally adhere to prior to commencing their proposed construction work.
We will be also looking at the Party Wall Notice response options that the adjoining owner has to them both under the Party Wall etc Act 1996 upon receipt of a Party Wall Notice.
Party Wall Procedures are in place to ensure that adjoining owners are given the full protection of the law as afforded to them via the Party Wall etc Act 1996.
We will be taking a look at when Party Wall Surveyors are needed, what they do and importantly what a Party Wall Award is.
If you would like to discuss this, or any other of our Property Surveying videos, our advice here at Stokemont, whether that is from ourselves or another firm is to seek the input of RICS Chartered Surveyors and Party Wall Surveyors.
