En mi modesta opinión compañero....Deberías comprobar en primera instancia los altavoces de agudos con tu tester o polímetro en la escala de ohmios. A ver si no están abiertos...

Yes of course it's the same flex cable. I had to ad another bypass cable. But to be honest I don't like the light and turn it of completely.

I have a jbl partybox 100 just like the one in the video. I am in America and I have 110v ac at the power supply and ~22v DC on the pins on the power supply board. I have confirmed continuity at the power button, any advice? Any better write up on the "common issue" you fixed at the very end of the video with a jumper wire? Hello, what's the issue? Does it turn on? The connector of the main board is very fragile. In my case there's only the bottom soldered and the top is loose. I tried several attempts to solder the pin back but it seems that there's some demage inside the plug. Therefore I press the power button and try to find the right Pin with continuity mode. It was the 11th or 12th I am not sure anymore. Than I make this jumper wire and attach it to the same pin out in order to get the signal again to the main board.

I think there's a short between the two power Pins. Let the board with the powerbutton away and try it again. I asked JBL itself and they gave me the contact to their supplier. I could order over mail. I had to replace the rubber part on top it cost 10 Euros and 15 with shipping.

I am testing power supply, What is the out put voltage of power supply is it Ac or DC?. Input side voltage test shows 220VAC, but output side shows zero volts. is that something wrong with it. Physical observations of components on circuit board is clean and firm and no burning sign. Please help if you happen to see my comments, thanks :)

That means your power supply is working no more.. I must show 22v dc output. You should diagnose and repair or just supply add laptop charger of matching voltage output or even standard 19.5v one should works fine..

Oh no definitely not 😉 There is no sealing. A little bit of rain splashes of water are okay. But if you take the whole speaker into water it will definitely take damage.

@@ИгнатБорисов-т9р The lights got their signal over the plug next to the bluetoothmodule. I think the wine goes over the large loudspeaker. Maybe theres a short circuit. You can measure it from above and if it's a short circuit you can carefully try to follow the cable down to the loudspeaker. You can use some alcohol (no water inside) and remove the corrosion as you can see in the video. I've never seen these lights but I think they are large PCBs in ring shape.

hello brother, my party box 100 batteries died after 3 years and now only works on ac power. I need to change the batteries, from the video i got [lithium ion,4 sets in series,capacity 2500 mah(36watt/hr)] this much , the samsung cell info not clear ~8650 is this right. All I need to do is swap this with new ones and its done right. I there any thing else?

The battery is a 18650. You can use any with 2500mAh or more with at least 20 Amps of discharge rate. You should be careful with the wiring and the solder points. I definitely recommend using a spotwelder but a solder Iron works to.

How many pins are on the flex cable connecting the power button and the main circuit board? I need to get a replacement. I luckily only had an issue with the power button board which was slightly corroded after an unlucky rain incident, I was able to fix it but unfortunately the speaker now turns on for no reason and I believe it is because one of the pins in the flex cable is slightly bent.
