Brent and Nick are probably the two biggest tryhards, definitely in terms of strategy games like MP, but Sophist and Vern have a lot of experience with a really wide variety of games, as opposed to Brent who mostly has experience with Nintendo, RPGs, and Fighting Games, and Nick who is… Nick. The two pairs have such wildly different strengths and weaknesses, it never feels close, it’s always a complete sweep on one side. Sometimes they taunt and give hints all game and still lose, other times, they get 7-0d in Sporacle or rage quit Mario Party.

Honestly this seems like it’s gonna be one heck of a series and I’d say it’s interesting how each game sort of plays into the role of a Mario party minigame … I don’t really know if you guys have all the games planned out or something but I think I got an interesting idea for a coin minigame. Deep rock galactic, but for ever 5 mineral you mine you get one coin. And if you get downed you lose three coins for however many times you’re downed. And if you don’t make it back to the ship, you get no coins I’d suggest a mining mission for this And I suppose to make it interesting for every big thing you find (Enor Pearl, Jadiz, big gold piece, or plagueheart ) you get 10 coins I don’t expect this to happen but just thought it was a fun idea You can do however many missions you feel is needed

For a Free for All game recommendation, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered edition! (Download the demo, you can still play the game together with the exception of not progressing outside of the first three dungeons.) You make your own character and you can join each other's party in a room. The minigame is simple: Crystal Chronicles is a beat-em-up game that lets you do stuff to earn artifacts and rings (permanent boosts and spells you can keep), but that's not what matters. Each dungeon you play gives each player participating a secret quest to complete. The one who gets the most points toward their secret quest wins the minigame... And I think there are some customization options the boys might like.
