I think the enclosures are starting to get a little too big. The crocs have to travel to far to get food so are hungry. And I think guests will complain about the views of the elephants. Double check zoopedia while you're building/mapping out areas so you don't lose sense of scale. The temple looks amazing btw

Nobody: Me: *EleFUNt* Flamingo doesn't need much space so i think they would be ok in this empty space near the entrance. I don't know why but as much as i love this particular zoo, it makes me so frustrated to see this little empty spot. I'm not sure if i'm right but i think the habitats could be too big? This could upset guests because they can't see animals from so far. The temple looks so beautiful!!! I think this will be my new favorite habitat. Luv ❤

@@diamelapumarinojackson7634 Fair point! And I also thought about the feeding cost of the Herd. That'll be too big of an expense. How do you handle large enclosures with multiple species? Like the African Savannah? Won't there be too much cleaning to do?
@mandyspurgin4514 жыл бұрын
Water issue could be the paths. I had the same issue on a smaller area with a path bridge going over it and I could not get the water to go back at the same height after I put the path up/down slopes, and center in. You can test by just deleting all the paths that cross or overhang the water and trying to put it back. You may need to remove paths, make water changes, our paths back. If that doesn’t work or it’s too much work...just use plants, rocks and effects to make your transition to a second river look like rapids or at least natural. The boat ride can go right through land.

hey, party!! want to start off by saying my mom would be proud of you with the Ganesh story!!! nd you said it correctly or at least that's the myth my family goes with... the term for Hindu temple in Hindi is called 'Mandir'. Ganesh ended up writing Mahabharat in case you or someone else wanted to know. I cannot tell you how much I loved the temple. I feel like I have been to a temple-like this!! it also looks so much like a Rajasthani castle!!! By the way, I am SO EFFING EXCITED FOR THE PANDAS!!! (i mentioned multiple times they are my favorite animals) but please look at the red pandas too!! they are adorable and from China (they are my second favorite...if I was 2 and could have 2nd favs and elephants are third on my favorites list) Name suggestion - 1. Haathi ka Mandir - elephant's temple 2. Haathi ka Mahel - elephant's castle 3. Haathi mere Sathi - my friend the elephant...this is actually a very old Bollywood movie about an elephant trainer / they were the dude's pet and he had to choose between his animals and his new family. A classic🤣🤣. I stuck to Hindi names since the region and all

Habitat name suggestion: Abhra-Matanga means “elephant of the clouds” in Hindu. The connection of elephants with water and rain is talked about in the mythology of Indra, who rides the elephant Airaavatha when he defeats Vritra, who appears as a dragon blocking the course of the rivers. I personally think it’s the perfect name lol Haven’t missed an episode since the beginning! Love it! ❤️

1. I love the idea of the keepers carrying the elephants in those tiny boxes 2. Unless you want guests in the habitat I say try the camels and flamingos together... if they hate it you can always change it later 3. Elephants like a big herd. If you have babies they take a long time to grow up and you’ll want to keep them because they fill up the social requirement (plus they’re cute) 4. I wouldn’t stress so much about finance I know you had a bad experience(!) but once you’re in the 300s go crazy 😜 5. If you’re worried about space maybe make the elephant habitat smaller? It’s huge and guests might even complain about poor views 6. Did you check that the elephants can’t escape? I’m worried about them going swimming in the moat and out the other side! 7. I foresee some issues getting pandas without conservation credits.. maybe you’ll need to trade out some of the young adult wolves? 😕 8. Dude the temple looks INCREDIBLE I’ve now played the game over 100 hours and I still can’t be bothered building anything custom whatsoever 😅 9. Is the boat ride going to fit under the path?? Maybe make the bridge much higher? Sorry so many things but I keep thinking of more. Love your work 🥰

I have a suggestion for an enclosure name when you eventually get to orangutans - Orangu-Town :P As for a name for the temple, maybe The Grand Gaja - it's the Sanskrit word for elephant, and that's a mighty grand temple you've built. I tried to think of potentially some actual temples with elephants to reference, but a lot of the temples with elephants treat them cruelly and it felt icky suggesting that.

I bought this game under the influence of another KZbinr. By coincidence, I stumbled across your video series when looking for tips and tricks. Boy, am I glad that happened! You have the best PZ series out there. Love the time lapse(s). Love the video lengths. Love the detail you put into everything. Keep it up! Just a few tips: 1. When you're sending animals to the trade center, if you sort your animals by Exhibit, it's a lot easier than sorting by age, and potentially getting rid of someone you didn't mean to. 2. You can't trade animals that you purchased originally in cash, which is why you weren't about to trade the Peacock. You can only quick trade those. 3. The water issue is, unfortunately, due to the paths. I've had the same issue in my zoo a few times.

I have an idea.... Maybe you should demolish/move the arctic section further up to the north to get more space, and it will be more more "real" to have it in the northern region of the map. 🤞🏼⛄️🦌 And they have reduced the habit space needed for the polar bears so you're gonna have to re do it anyways so that the guests can get a better view, and that decreases the refunds 😊❤️🇸🇪👌🏼 And I'm very excited about the Elephants and rhinos! 😃🐘🦏 BUT, I feel like that habitat is WAY to big, maybe you could add a third inclosure/animal on that "island"? 🦁? 🐆?

Yay you got the elephants!!!! So happy about that! And I have to say, that temple might just be the most impressive thing I've ever seen anyone create in this game. The attention to detail, the way it looks lit up at night, everything about it is simply stunning. Mad props to you for that! Now for my unasked for advice: that area you want to put the flamingos in is WAY too big. If I'm not mistaken the flamingos only need like 250ish and the area you've mapped out for them is easily like 6000. You could fit the flamingos, camels, and orangutan all in that area, I think. (Not saying you should, but I'm trying to convey just how large that space is.) I think when viewing the map from zoomed out way up above areas tend to look smaller when in actuality they're massive. Like your elephant exhibit? Absolutely gigantic. Guests will probably complain about the views for it. I prefer to make my habitats bigger as well just so I know I have plenty of space once my animals begin to have children but remember that the happiness of the guests are what keep your zoo up and running smoothly. Guests donate more when they have great views. Just keep that in mind!! I also think adding food and drinks and bathrooms where you mentioned by the mountain range would be a good idea. And as far as feeding the elephants goes, I think you might be okay. I currently have 7 Indian Elephants (because you dont have to sell the children for their social needs, you can keep them around) and its $14,000 to feed. For THREE polar bears it was $15,000, so I definitely do not recommend getting them back yet lol. Just some tips :) As always, I enjoyed today's episode!!

I really love the factoids you drop and how you are open to other people correcting you. It's nice and refreshing and you're doing great Party. Be sure to take care of yourself. Migraines are killer. Be sure to be kind to your eyes and brain. So one thing I noticed was that the lanterns on the boats and on the water are upside down. I would also suggest maybe add the quarintine from America's north to India central or consider adding some facilities closer to india so it's not such a long treck. Also consider a rest stop for the guests because the walk from tiger to elephant/rhino is a large treck. Guest will likely get hungry/tired/thirsty and need the bathroom. So maybe one between the tigers and elephants and then another between the elephant/rhinos and the Komodo dragon area. #arctic

I think that, for instance, the space you have marked for the flamingos is too big for them and you'll run out of space. Maybe divide it into two? The same with the elephant enclosure. I love that the animals have space, but the zoo space is limited. Hopefully the rhinos can be put there, too! And of course when they get babies the need for space won't be a problem. I wouldn't worry about saving space for Oz just yet as no announcements have been made on a DLC for that, although I would love it and think we can expect that, we just don't know when. Maybe you can open another franchise zoo for that! I really enjoy these episodes and hope you keep it up!

Been watching this series since it only had a few episodes out but this is my very first time commenting! I wanted to say that the temple looks absolutely incredible! I'm constantly amazed by your building skills, and it's been really cool and inspiring seeing your improvements with each enclosure that you do. Also, I feel like I'm at a point where I can't watch anyone else's LP's on this game 'cause I'm just so used to watching yours hahah! I love how you play the game and I really enjoy the balance between the management stuff and the building. So thank you so much for this series, it's nice having something to look forward to every week :D

Why is it so super satisfying to watch him organize everything? Especially the exhibit animals... Am I the only one?

Hey! For the mountains: I saw this other KZbinr using the flatten terrain tool under the mountains to create some steep/ hanging over ledges, as mountains often have. And for the base of what you have now, I'd just recommend not using any more cones and just thicken it up with the modify terrain tool. The Indian temple build looks sick as hell! I don't know much about the architecture, but I think adding some height like towers really helps it stand out and be extra epic. You'd wanna see that tower the moment you come in, at least I would :D now its so tucked away! Loving the series either way! Keep it up

Hey party! I love the temple, it looks so grand! Wonderful job! I am concerned with the amount of space u allotted for the elephant and rhino. Just for the elephants i think it is 14x the requirement, it might spell trouble for the viewing points and might be too long of a walk for the guests without facilities (toilets and u know thirst needs!) which would impact happiness. Also, remind u to fix the info boards (and add more) on the viewing points in the temple. Love this episode as usual. Thank u fir ur hard work. :)

What a great ep! Maybe for the gulpee it could be something like “the parched peafowl” or “the peafowl pitstop” maybe something along those lines :) amazing work as always Party

I like the lanterns on the water!! It really ties in the lanterns on the boats like people go out to release them on to the water.

I love getting notifications from this one specific play series. Hands down best in my opinion and I love how detail oriented you are! 💜💜

A really fantastic work around for different levels of water is to remove the terrain and replace it with a glass fence. A lot easier to cover up with water effects! Another thing is if you put walls kind of in front of the power generator thing, it blocks the view point from the guests and lowers the radius of negative effect. This has worked for me for all my staff buildings etc.

Make the lanterns look like they're partly underwater and like tipping over. They look kinda "supernatural" when they're just standing straight on the water :D (dunno if u already did it, didn't watch the whole video yet :)

LOVING the temple!! It turned out looking fantastic and I can't wait to see that architectural style all around the elephants/rhinos. #arctic Just a couple of tips for some of the outstanding questions at the end of this episode: 1. You can check yourself which animals can live together by placing them together in a barebones sandbox zoo. Fighting/predation triggers pretty quickly, so as long as that doesn't happen and the animals share a biome and continent (for foliage purposes) they should be just fine in the same habitat! 2. For the mountains, try using the "roughen" tool to get some random small hills/valleys and break up the regular silhouette from the terrain stamps that you placed.

What ive heard from my grandma is shiva ordered his men to bring the head of a baby creature who's angry over his parents, the men went to the jungle and found a pair of elephants sleeping with the baby elephant facing the opposite direction than that of his parents so they bring shiva the head of that baby elephant. That's why in my childhood I was discouraged to sleep with my head being in any other direction than that of my parents. Also, anyone interested should also read about why Ganesh is the first god to be prayed to at every event whatsoever. Ganesh is one of the wisest gods in indian mythology, and his stories are really interesting. Have a great day everyone :)

Holy Elephants that temple is so cool! Btw how about Ganesha's garden for the enclosure since you have his temple overlooking it. Loving story time with party it's a fun way to spend the time in the timelapses and as always you just keep making the zoo better and better with the little touches like lanterns and stuff like that it's honestly one of the best planet zoos I've seen so keep it up party!
