Yeup, inexperienced drinkers won't know that but there is a sweet spot in between sober and drunk that I call "the good buzz" in which you are definetly affected by the alcohol but still not out of control or about to vomit. Relaxed, eased, happy, but not sick, or violent, or too crazy.

TT13 I disagree, especially when it comes to smoking weed as well. I have friends who don't do either and- well, for example- the first time my (pothead) friends and I went to my (sober) friend's college, I was really excited to get a taste of college-kid antics for the weekend, like- not even getting smashed but just having fun and dancing at a party or whatever... but that's not what happened. All her and her lame-ass roommates wanted to do was play Game Cube in the common room all. Weekend. Long. Just sit around, playing Smash Bros. That's fun for a few hours but the whole time? No. So we went and got our alcohol and found/bought some bud on campus and left early to go have our own fun. And we did. So much fun was had. Nowadays, I have one main best friend and we can just chill and drink and smoke and talk about life every single day and it never gets old. She's pretty much my soul sister. We know everything about each other, and there's no one I'd rather go camping/kayaking/biking/hiking/partying/dancing/adventuring with.

Cute film. The REAL power is finding you can be the "drunk" Jimmy without drinking. If you "need" booze to chill, relax and enjoy yourself, be social, not be rude like the "sober" Jimmy was - let's face it, he was rude and crabby - then you have to ask yourself why, and look in the mirror. Sober should not mean rudeness, crabbiness, or a loss of a sense of humour! If it does, there is something going on in your life that you should look at. The solution is NOT to get drunk. I find it sad that people can't feel comfortable enough with themselves and/or with friends that they can't just BE without any chemicals. It is possible to have crazy fun without chemicals if you know how to laugh at yourself and are in the moment and really cherish every experience with good friends, good food and good music.
