I use to rent cabin's and fish at Parvin State Park. Through the years I caught the largest pickerel I'd ever caught. 26 inches long and was the second largest caught in NJ that year. Great place to go for any outdoors fun!! Rich

Thanks so much for the comment Donna Donna. Wow that is one large pickerel! Parvin is a beautiful place for sure and a fond memory with my son Dylan. I made a movie recently at Sourland Mountain Preserve in central Jersey. It is another beautiful place(no fishing though😣) Thanks again for the view and comment.

@@JerseyJimFish sounds cool. I'm disabled now and living in an assisted living facility. I had asked my son before too spread my ashes at Parvin when I pass. My ex-wife said that's illegal. Like they would know if he hikes around the lake. I know I don't want mine with hers. ( Lol ). One of my favorite fishing memories is catching a 40 inch Needle nose gar fish on lake Murray SC on very lite line. It took me over 20 minutes to real it in on the bank. After I released it a guy in a boat said look out for the copperheads. They were all around me. The guy came over and had me get in his boat. He took me to where my car was parked. I gave him about a dozen of my Marabou jigs I was using, then I went home and changed my underwear. Rich

Ok Rich, 9 years ago I was in a motorized wheel chair with a crippling arthritic condition. I was 260 pounds and was in such bad shape I decided to homeschool Dylan(my son) so I could spend time with him before MY day came. A few years later I had been watching Sea-Money fishing and some other KZbin fishermen and I thought "that's the life I want". I am doing exactly what I had envisioned way back then! I am now 185#, off all meds as a result of the NJ medical marijuana program😁. I'm still in chronic pain, but am now working very hard to realize my goal. I spent a long time laid up with out the ability to do what I wanted to do Rich. This view into your life is THE greatest reward I have been given since starting this channel!!! I really am glad I could entertain someone who may be in the same shoes I have been in. Thank you sir, this means ALOT to me.

@@JerseyJimFish congrats on your success!! I'm working hard, but sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward. I've been in an electric wheelchair for 23 years. I might be in a wheelchair, but I'm still good looking!! ( Lol ). Best of luck to you!! Rich 🐟🐠🐡
