Thanks for the comment. Pasadena is the true Original neighborhood of LA. They have the best architecture and coolest streets to walk in. There's just so much history to this place.

Great, I'm glad that I was able to make you discover some interesting places in Pasadena, it's truly one of my favorite cities in the Los Angeles area.

Nice visuals. Pasadena is lovely. You used the word "cool" 13 xs. (Movie vulgarians camp in Beverly Hills.)

Omg wow the city hall is so beautiful. What time did you go? It looked empty!
@TheDavidNeytsShow6 ай бұрын
If you go during the day on a weekday it’s pretty empty.

Oh yeah! I loved so much this city! It gave me the impression to be in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Disneyland 😉 But indeed with the virus, it's like to be in a ghost town in some parts of the city, like in the university for example.

Thank you for watching this video. It's one of my longer ones but there's just so much beauty in that area that I wanted to be able to show as much as possible.

Have you done a video of Eaton canyon? There's a waterfall at the end of the hike on the bottom, especially right now lol and hennigers flats up above
@TheDavidNeytsShow3 жыл бұрын
Thanks John for the comment. Yes, I actually have done a video about the Eaton Canyon hiking trail. Here is the link ;-) kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpizaqWBe9mAhas As for Hennigers flats. Good idea, I will do a video about that trail ;-)

I love the turtles the best! I didn't know they were there. I wonder what they eat.
@TheDavidNeytsShow3 жыл бұрын
I wonder too. They look very well taken care of and I'm sure there's gardeners that come to feed them, or at least add some sort of eco system to the little pond so that they can be fed.

Yes indeed, that's why they have his sculpture next to the Pasadena City Hall. What a great memento of him.

The residential area he visited is on the west side; much of the rest of the city doesn't look like that. But the city has improved a lot in the last couple of decades, some of the shabbier areas including the "ghetto" neighborhoods have been gentrified.
@TheDavidNeytsShow3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there are less nice neighborhoods within Pasadena but in general as you said it's become very gentrified and there are a majority of really nice places to visit and walk-in.

Whatever! But for lo these many years, you were never lovelier, Pasadena! And there was a time when one detrained within your city limits as opposed to going downtown Los Angeles!
