Pasadena Freeway - Los Angeles

A trip up the Pasadena Freeway (CA 110, Arroyo Seco Parkway), the first freeway built in California (1940). Shot in December 2000, sped up 4x-8x.

Very nice. Everybody trying to get on the I-5 Northbound at the beginning. I've read on wikipedia the pavement is now 69 years old.

Great soundtrack!! Man... I remember my alternater dying and losing all power on this freeway!! And at night right near eagle Rock!!! Scary!!!

if that was the entire 8 mile length in just under 2 minutes, we were driving at about 240 mph!

there are no 18 wheelers allowed on ths stretch from the 101 4 level norht. gotta take figueroa up or down. saw a trailer get stuck on the ave 43 south bound on-ramp hairpin OOPPPSS!! CHP was pretty ticked..
