I want to break my record of reading 16 books in a year, by at least reading 17 or more this year.

I took three year of spanish in high school and still can not speak a word, it was the worst. But I have found people who speak more then one language have an ability to learn and speak another language faster and better. I am not wired that way, so sad.

German is easier for someone who speaks English or has a base in English since the syntax is the same. If you want to say I am staying at home you would say it in the same way in German, Ich bleibe an Heim. All nouns in German are capitalized no matter where they are in the sentence.

yaaay!!!! Go for it Bryan! Deutsch ist gar nicht so schwer und es macht bestimmt total Spaß, es zu lernen (anyway, I'm happy that I don't have to learn it ^^). I habe similiar thoughts, I want to learn Italian

Hello Bryan and Pascal, I don't normally have a New Year's resolution. But, this year, 2017, I just want to survive horrible, disgusting Trump.

Louis Riehm You, and everyone else with a modicum of analytic thinking! If the Republic of California (with Washington and Oregon joining it, as rumour has it those petitions are already floating around), the Republic of Vermont, and the Kingdom of Hawai'i (where the native Hawaians have never liked the fact they were invaded and displaced to keep the ho'ale plantation owners happy) all return to their original status of independent countries, that would definitely rock someone's private empire! After all, Texas has spent the last 8 years threatening that for no other reason than there was a black President.......

Hey I want to wish you two a happy 2017.... I don't make restitutions but maybe this year I will! I speak Ukrainian and Polish and English so no more languages for me! I do think people should be at least bi lingual.

Spanish... Yes... I will give you a test during my stay in Montreal in August, so learn fast... My resolutions for this year, as a You Tube fan revamp my channel (received the new cameras and software yesterday), do it more professional. As a father, get my kid to the Specialize Math and Science High School... Work related, get on track to my future change (five years from now), rather retirement or a new job as a professor. As a gay man, deliver a message of inclusion and love, be happy so I can share that with a significant other. As a friend, being there, as simple as that. So resolutions as I said in another You Tuber post are dreams that need compromise and hard work, so lets work toward our goals. Love you guys, you are two special human beings in my life. Keep Smiling...

I'm always really fond of you guys' channel and I'm also a big fan of Quebec and Canada.Wish you guys a lovely and nice 2017 and be together for all eternity. All of my sincere wishes and greetings from China. BTW, I'm also gay.lol.

Hey guys I got a friend from Canada and she doesn't speak french. Why is that? Is it not a national language?
@Chloe-lq9kx7 жыл бұрын
Hello, I know that you were aiming the question towards Bryan and Pascal, but I can answer the question since I am from Canada as well. In Canada, officially, there are two national languages, French and English. The amount/level of French you learn really depends on the province or territory you live in. For example, I am from Ontario and we begin learning French in grade 4 and can continue taking it in high school; however, after grade 9, taking the language is no longer necessary. Since Québec has a predominantly French-speaking population, most of its citizens become quite fluent in the language. Your friend may not be from a French speaking area or they may have left the country before they had the chance to learn. If they still live in Canada, perhaps they stopped taking French as a subject. Hope this helped :)
