Pasig River Esplanade Phase 1C Update
The Pasig River Esplanade Phase 1C was inaugurated .This project is a part of the Pasig River Urban Development Showcase Area at Plaza Mexico, Magallanes Drive in Intramuros,the 25-kilometer development project, which is part of the ongoing “Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli” project.
Phase 1C introduced a one-story structure with a roof deck along the Pasig River, featuring a three-meter wide walkway flanked by leasable commercial spaces at the ground level and a combination of a walkway, bike lane and viewing area on the roof deck.
It will encompass over 30 commercial stalls equipped with modern amenities, including sewage treatment, individual electric and water meters, fire protection and public restrooms.
The structures will use renewable energy and promote other ecological practices aligned with the environmental protection and conservation strategies of the government.
The additional 250-meter development connecting the existing esplanade from Jones Bridge to Plaza Mexico and Fort Santiago marks the completion of the 500-meter showcase area of the Manila Old Downtown Segment.
the ongoing “Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli” project, the newly inaugurated Phase 1C features pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, commercial zones, and green spaces that are expected to drive local economy and tourism through food and retail stalls, walkways, bike lanes, and boardwalk.

Why? It is flooded after the rain. This will surely become a big problem after a big rain, need to be solved before the tourist arrives to see the place.... a disappointment if not walkable after all.

natural yan kasi open. kaya nga di advisable na pwede maglipat ng bahay if di pa nkaaranas ng malakas na ulan. napaka unpredictable ng tubig. maayos pa yan

Ang ganda na, pero masmaganda sana kung malinis at malinaw na ang tubig ng ilog pasig. Sana mapalinis pa ito. Parang dumami ulit ang basura at water lilies sa ilang areas.

Ang chaka talaga tingnan ng ilog with all those floating basura and water hyacinth, lol! Dapat may regular maintenance na naglilinis at naghahakot ng mga basura at water hyacinth sa Pasig River dahil sobrang eyesore talaga at panira ng view!

bakit na iipon ang tubig dapat hindi ganun hindi nka level paki check naman po magiging problema pa yan sa susunod

GraBe saan ba nanggagaling yang waterlily?in fairness ganda ng lugar pero sana hindi na e stock yung tubig ulan dyan pangit at babahayan ng lamok yan.

ngl sobrang nipis nya for sure siksikan ang mga tao, dapat pinalawak na nila Hindi rin Yan walkable at bike lane na sinasabi nila

sana wag na itayo ang skyway sa ibabaw ng Pasig River kasi sayang naman ang view ng ilog pag nagkaroon ng kalye sa ibabaw nito. :(

May kabilisan yung construction ng unang part ng Phase 1C kasi may deadline. After nung inauguration, pansin ko ambagal na. Yung ramp at mga commercial slots ambilis sa umpisa e.
