If you like ACDC take a listen to the Angels with Doc Neeson. Probably the hardest hitting Aussie pub rock band I ever saw. Neeson was nuts. Watch the end of the "under the southern cross" concert on KZbin to see what I mean.......

George Torogood is one of the best guitarists of the 20th century. Did these people back in 1995 realize what they had witnessed? To play rock and roll in such a furious rhythm with alternating fingers .. not everyone can do that. Only the elect of God ... A tribute to your talent, George !!!

Awe jeez Margie I'm getting old; this reminded me of seeing George at Massey Hall in Toronto with 8 or 10 of my friends when I was in my early 20's and just dancing my ass off the whole time right in front of the stage with 50 total strangers having a blast. I saw Thorogood open for the Stones at the Superdome in 1981. I had never really heard much of him then and he set the place on FIRE. Perfect opening for the Stones.

Saw George Thorogood & The Destroyers live in The Dunedin Town Hall here in New Zealand on Sunday December 8th 1985 - believe I was 22 back then and bullet-proof. And what a gig!
