Thank you Sifu, this is exactly what I need to watch to then go in the park and practice for myself. I am slowly getting my tendons and bones strength back, and my tendinitis is gone. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.

Fantastic! You are getting stronger! Keep training!

Thank you again. This is great stuff. I practice the figure 8 everyday and the switch. Excellent and clear instruction. I also very much appreciated your advice on being grateful for life and to control our thinking.

Thank you Bob! I love making these videos and have never gotten tired of the staff after 30+ years of spinning. It’s been a great gift!

I watches your Bo excercise videos, but now i see i bought a Jo. That's really different from the Bo in style. I like it, buy a Bo when i learn some basics from you.

Just wanted to say I found your take on the Jo refreshing after sitting through at least an hour of more "traditional" Aiki-Jo stuff. I like that you start these videos with very practical conditioning moves that crossover a range of disciplines. Other videos so repetitive with the whole hand to end flip over and slide through thing that seems to be what that style revolves around.

Hi Matt when you talk about advance jo strikes,are you talking about just the hand switching.
@pasquinilli4 жыл бұрын
No there are several more complex and really interesting advanced strikes. I don’t usually show them because I focus on what you can do for practical self defense. I can make a video of them or throw them in the next live stream for jo

I am going to try and make a jo staff that will break apart in to fighting escrima sticks and back to a jo staff

Cool! A company called karate mart makes those too. Kombativ.com has some too I think
