Hi, do you have any ideas on how to load test a talend job and get relevant metrics back to be analyzed? I've load tested a lot of web based app using jmeter or loadrunner but here it seems to be different... in other words, what would be the best practice to load test a Talend job? Any helps would be appreciated.

Terribly confusing. You set up the child job beforehand without showing how the code is generated. How did that code capture the context variables? Why must assigning a value to a variable in Talend be so INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT AND COMPLEX!!!! I can do this in Pentaho in 30 seconds!!!!

Hey Joseph, Video is about passing variables not about How to create a child job. My aim is t o stick to subject focus to help understand people How to perform certain functionality. If I will try to add everything into one video, people will get bored. If the video is long , people will loose interest. Let me know what You have not understood, I would be happy to respond you. there is no need to pass file. you can read the same file using tFileInputDelimited component in child job and point to the file that you want to pass from child job.
