How much time would you suggest I prep for the test -- a month prior or longer?

Generally I recommend starting to study at least 2 months prior to the exam but it really depends on how comfortable you are with the material. Start with a practice test and then work backwards from that based on your score. Good luck!

Why do you need to solve problems of this level in. order to teach Kindergarten Special Education? How does this relate?
@PassYourPraxis5 ай бұрын
This video specifically covers the Praxis Core Math Exam (5733). It assumes up to a high school level of math understanding and is used broadly for admission into teaching programs and as a baseline pre-requisite for many teaching jobs. It may not specifically apply to the job you are looking to pursue but is still often asked for in order to establish a baseline level of competency. If you are looking specifically to teach Kindergarten Special Education - you should also review some of the more specialized exam codes such as Praxis Special Education: Core Knowledge and Applications (5354)

You mentioned on the reading video how many you can get correct to pass, is there a certain number for this test too?
@PassYourPraxis2 ай бұрын
ETS doesn't make this information public because individual tests may get adjusted for difficulty - however a good rule of thumb is to take the passing score requirement for your state, subtract 100 from it, and then apply it as a percentage to the number of questions. Example: most states have a passing score requirement of 150 for Praxis 5733 and the test has 56 questions. To pass, you can safely assume that you need to answer at least 50% questions correctly or 28 questions.
