I remember seeing him years ago on the street in NYC. He was very kind and took the time to chat with me and my friends. A great talent and magnificent human being. RIP.

he's such a gem. Filled with joy and energy. He gave exactly what he learned to every dancer. I'm so lucky to have taken a class with him. One of my best memories.

What a magnificent man, who became a great dancer, and devoted a good part of his life to giving free dance lessons to children. You will be deeply missed, sir.

He was beautiful. I never saw anything as wonderful as him with Tanny on film. I hope they are reunited to dance among the stars.

Ohhhhhh. Really liked him!!! He was always very kind and classy in his interviews. He was so right - art should never be cut out of our education system! Another one of balancine’s legacy gone. RIP Mr. D’Ambroise. You’ll be greatly missed!!!

So true Jacque, I learned to dance at a young age. I can feel the inspiration lifting my heart every time I see tap, ballet, and acrobats being performed.

He's right. Arts should be a main branch of curriculum and never threatened because of funding. Exposure is so important to the minds of kids!
