I would have never imagined that 26 years later, I would watch footage of 10yr old me watching McRae taking off and the cameraman even making a close-up to my grandpa's face just before Kankkunen arrived at the start of SS10. I've watched this twenty times in a row to even believe it. Memories of the sound, smell of a professional cockpit at full steam, dust, heat, exhaust gases and anti-lag. Νo kid can forget that; still the same passion after almost 3 decades. THANK YOU for the video!

As always this is an excellent video. This is pretty much as close to time travelling you can get. Excellent cars in this time period, of course the Subaru Impreza started making its name know, but man, the Toyotas Corolla and Celica looked sexy AF. The Lancer was also very solid and even the Seat Ibiza looked keen to try and come out after the "big boys" :) Good times, these, I remember.
