We will always remember and love what Yuna brought to the group, but the harsh vocals are in good hands with Emily, as expected. I think everyone was incredibly curious about how this song would pan out. It ended up amazing! It's interesting comparing their vocals styles. Emily is much more chaotic and has a lot of variance (holy shit that high at 2:46 ). I do feel like Yuna had more clarity in her words. Either way, I don't have a favorite. They are both fantastic, and Emily slots so well into the role.

It's funny, I discovered Passcode the same time she started her time with LADYBABY. I was surprised once LADYBABY ended that she'd move to PassCode, and kept her screams just as strong, if not stronger. She definitely deserves all the credit she gets

So... the question on everybody's minds has been answered: how will Emily sound doing Taking You Out? Pretty damn good, I thought. She sounds different than Yuna but should because she's not Yuna. And she found her own way to deliver which still rocks. I liked the high pitch scream too. Also, #PassCodePants. Really enjoyed this performance on first listen and look forward to getting this concert for Christmas!

Emily really seems to have found her place quickly, which is great. Honestly, Taking You Out is the sole song of theirs I've been looping for years but I finally got the motivation to check out more Passcode after getting more into a couple other alternative and/or underground idols with harsh vocals (Kosame, Zenkimi esp.) and finding the live performance Passcode did of Flavour of Blue on NHK, which is also a great track second to only TYO imo. Emily makes this song even more brutal than usual and while I had gotten used to Yuna she is great too.
