A boy in the 8th grade in our school died from cancer and students of his class and friends of him told me that he constantly listened to this song 30 minutes before he died in a hospital. 2 Years later when the 10th grade of his class left the school, a girl, his best friend, sang THIS song, HIS favourite song, in front of 600 ppl and made a speech. At the first sentence she tried to say, she cried. It was heartbreaking. I'm still crying thinking about him even tho i didnt know him. I'm happy i wrote R.I.P. on a letter for him when i got in the 7th grade.

Every passenger fan is messed up one way or another.. We all have a story to tell.. That's why it's easy to relate easily to his songs. It brings out the deep down forgotten memories, good or bad, and tear us up. Such a good feeling
@cozyalcoser30944 жыл бұрын
This isn't one of those stories, but it is a fun Passenger story. At my middle school graduation last year I made a slideshow about our field trip to New York, and I used the passenger song Let me dream a while because it came out during the trip and i thought that it went well with the presentation. I even set up most of the slides to fit well with the lyrics. So at the graduation, when my slideshow plays, I was super proud and excited to see the nostalgia that song brought out. But, the guy controlling the audio put it to his headphones, and rather than stop the slideshow and restart it with music, I had to sit through the whole thing in front of hundreds of people as a silent presentation played, and it wasn't good at all. I was completely crushed, and not one person of all the speakers that talked after me, staff or student, actually pointed out that there was supposed to be any sound, so it looked really bad on my part. That memory isn't exactly relatable to his songs, but it was still painful

First time hearing this song even though I've listened to Passenger quite a few times. I like it. And guys, don't listen to people telling you to think about what others may be going through (death, homeless, sickness) when you have a heartbreak or something "less" important. You have the right to feel sad. You have the right to be selfish. There is no real 'worst' or 'better'. Everything is perspective. You'll feel for others later, but for now, if you are sad because someone broke your heart, just feel it. Cry. Think about it. Just take the time to heal, so that you'll be able to think about others later and be genuine about it.

lyrics They say home is where the heart is but my heart is wild and free So am I homeless Or just heartless? Did I start this? Did it start me? They say fear is for the brave For cowards never stare it in the eye So am I fearless to be fearful Does it take courage to learn how to cry So many winding roads So many miles to go and oh.. Oh they say love is for the loving Without love maybe nothing is real So am I loveless or do I just love less Oh since love left I have nothing left to fear So many winding roads So many miles to go When I start feeling sick of it all It helps to remember I'm a brick in a wall who runs down from the hillside to the sea when I start feeling that it's gone too far I lie on my back and stare up at the stars I wonder if they're staring back at me oh when I start feeling sick of it all It helps to remember I'm a brick in a wall who runs down from the hillside to the sea when I start feeling that it's gone too far I lie on my back and stare up at the stars I wonder if they're staring back at me

remember when this song was played on the radio all the time. I was in total love with a girl then. I truly loved her with all of me. It's now been a year and 8 months since I last saw her. At the time I hated this song, but now it makes me cry to hear this song. Anybody who is reading this I just want you to know that you have no idea what you have until it's gone. I advise you take that special one who you love for all their perfect imperfections and make the most of the time you have together because you never know until it's over ...

So nice to have song that contains genuine emotion. This deserves so much credit, and I’ve already mentioned in other songs that this deserves so much more recognition and praise than a lot of the mainstream music that appears on KZbin, radio and social media. Refreshing to have talented music artists like this in today’s musical climate.

Guys, when you are listening to love songs, dont just always think about yourself about your lost girl/boyfriend or something like that and say like ''Oh, i cry everytime when i listen to this song, it reminds me of my ex ):''', think about people who lost their life's, people who lost their family, people who has it hard with their life or people who dont even have a home. Cry for how other people who has it bad. sorry if my english is bad
