PASSENGERS UNHAPPY WITH CONDITION OF DIMAPUR RAIL STATION

While Interacting with NLTV, public shared many grievances related to Dimapur Railway Station on how the passengers are facing difficulties with the non-availability of tickets, low infrastructure, short time stoppage of train and more. Dimapur Railway station is going to be upgraded to World Class Rail Station by 2.5 years under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with a 283 crore rupees where on the other hand maximum land of Dimapur Railway is illegally encroached and structures are being built within a short span of the years. MLA & Advisor GoN, Tovihoto Ayemi said he will carry this issue with NFR and Railway ministry to solve the issue as soon as possible. MLA & Advisor GoN, Moatoshi Longkumer also stated on the illegal land encroachment and asked for SIT to the Govt of Nagaland

on 04/08/2023(Friday), our (Dimapur to Guwahati) 11:30 PM LEDO train arrived the next day at 01:45 AM (05/08/2023), (Saturday)... moreover, it's very hard to get reservation tickets from the ticket counter because of the brokers(dalals), and m sure, very much supported and well teamed-up with the dimapur railway ticket counter staffs...also, some of the ticket counter staffs are arrogant...just think and imagine, some persons(non-local dalals) standing on the queue(non-locals) holding 20 to 30 forms(on commission basis) I guess(I mean the dalals)...even after seeing and knowing all these, the dinapur railway ticket counter staffs dn't say anything and they hv no problem at all..also, I very much doubt and cannot be trusted the dimapur railway ticket counter staffs, those who issue tickets(they must be having some kind of understanding n connections with the dalals, as they must be getting commission too), giving lots of headache, troubles n problems to the common public n passengers.

Platform 2 is beyond world class....no roof or shed..which angle are they trying to compare to world class standard when even the basic standard of shed and standard platform is non existent?? far too narrow platform...sometimes when the long distance train arrive at midnight and it rains it's just horrible...no class or standard..very unpleasant travel as a regular traveler once upon a time

In order to mk Indian railways n tracks clean, Indian rlys must manufacture trains with toilets that hv self containing waste containers. Not dumping fresh shit on the tracks through the hole.

I never suffered while booking ticket till now but one thing wana share that I faced many problems even come by sleeper class sit cos we don't get sit also even we reserved a sit. Many people come by sleeper sit by booking a general ticket.

Can hold atleast one thousand passengers capacity, it's a big plate form when you see there's 3 to 4 plateform, How can you calculate that it can't hold one thousand ??? Without any verification regarding capacity you can't just report randomly because Dimapur plateform is large in size when add all the platform
