Yes, I know you guys are waiting for it :-) I'm working on a software, so I can make some videos, it's not as easy as Roboguide or RobotStudio from ABB

I don’t understand what is advantage of passing a constant/register via arguments over using them directly in sub-program? This indirect option can be a problem for FM workers who are often not so expirienced as programmers. Breakdowns need to be solved as quickly as possible so there is No time to search on KZbin what ARs are

Ture and not not true at the same time :-) It's all up to documentation and standard, if all robots are programmed in the same way and it's been explained than it's not an issue. In my opinion using argument makes the program cleaner eg. imagine that you are setting a pneumatic gun position based on a value, than every time you call a Macro you need to define the R[x]=x a line before, so there are 2 risks that this carries: 1. if someone forgets to run the line with R[x] you won't have the correct value 2. if someone will get stuck in the middle of the macro (eg WAIT R[x]=100 and changes the value of R[x] to 100, because the robot is waiting for it than this can cause damage / crash to the equipment / part both of those issues are solved by "hard coding" the value into AR[x]. Also I do think "Breakdowns need to be solved as quickly as possible so there is No time to search on KZbin what ARs are" is a statement that can be made by someone not familiar with the robot and we know that not always we have a programmer on hand that can solve the issues easy, but what's more important is to have a safe program that is written is as error proof as possible and using AR[x] is one of the examples. I recently made a video about Robot programmer evolution: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmqTnJ17iNZlrM0 and we need all types of programmers, but there is a reason why there is a "robot programmer" title, because robots are not made so everyone that touches them can operate them, it requires certain set of skills :-)

@@FutureRoboticsChannel indeed, thanks for a nice example ;) about a standard - it is not always as clear and simple - specialy in old factories, which are in 99% modernised by outsourcing - different parts of factory are robotized by different groups that use their own standards. In the end there are 3 or 4 standards in one factory :) on the other hand factories want to cut costs on maintenance so they hire a one man army universal soldiers called electromechanics that need to take care about everything :P however, as You mentioned - safety first (for both machines and humans :P) Best wishes i życzę miłego weekendu (wnioskuje po nazwach programów :P)

Today was day i used arguments, we had sub program for welding robot wich was called 4 different times in main program and i wanted that sub program give different Group output every time so this was useful to make program much quicker!

Hi im looking to put backround logic on my robot but its the older version(black and white) dont have it. is there a variable i have to change?

not really, it's a software option, perhaps you can purchase it from FANUC, or maybe you can use RUN if your robot has the multitasking option
