I think of my dad who passed away in 2009. He struggled with depression and alcoholism horribly. It stole him from me. He passes in a car accident when I was 9 years old. I'm only 12, but I've grown up with bad influencers who were older than me and doing bad things, I was searching for comfort and peace, I didn't know Jesus I just knew of him. I got into really bad things like getting high and self harm when I was sad at a young age. I fell into depression because of it (also other things) I ended up purposely overdosing in October 2023. The doctors were surprised I made it to the hospital in time before dying. When I tell you I felt conviction when I was in the emergency room, I realized he saved me that night. It was a miracle and I'm so happy to be alive today. I got saved the night I got out of the mental hospital and baptized a few weeks later. This is my testimony 100% PRAISE THE LORD!!!

I was listening to this song again today and, as I was listening, the Lord began to minister to me. I am 74 years old and asked Jesus into my heart at 25. Lately, I have been haunted and condemned by my past, particularly since I am still and will be, suffering some of the consequences of my reckless choices from decades ago. The Lord spoke to my heart and told me what He cleans is made clean and what He says is clean is clean. No one, not even myself, has the right to call unclean what God has made clean.
