I actually tried this method even before watching the video..This is because I am new to the braiding thing and I had to find my way around it...I tried three times to install the passion twists and my hands just magically went to wrapping and I did my stepdad's whole hair fantastic..Now I am watching the video and like Im' saying OH GOSH !!! I really didnt know this is actually a method that existed!!!Trust me it works and to me it's the easiest...give it a try....You will love the end results!!

I first did this in 2020 accidentally when trying to do faux locs. I'd just done big chop 599...lol..but never came back to it until this year. I braid down an inch, crochet the hair in, wrap, and twist. I actually alternate between twisting and wrapping since my natural hair is super fine and soft. I don't like them too long or to use too much extension hair. My goal is to acheive mini twists I rocked from 2005-2009 but now using extension hair for fullness and added length. I prefer twists over braids as the take down is so much quicker.

It’s possible but it may be a challenge, you’ll have to go pretty slow in order to get those wraps neat and precise. 😬 if you do end up trying it lmk how it goes !

Cute. My hair didn't even last a week. Is that enough product on the hair? I see people coat the while hair before twisting. Just wondering if it would work better. My hair was coming through. I had to retwist within a few days finally I took down on my trip.😢

I do my own hair. I notice that the rubberband method does hold it taut and lasts a lil longer than when I do as you did with starting with the braid. My question is what works so that my hair is not coming through the twists after a few days? I won’t call out brands that claim to deliver but I will say I’ve used almost all of those brands and they do not keep my hair from unraveling in the twists after a few days. 😔😔😔

A rubber band or burn the ends. Rubber bands on roots does nothing but break hair off or make it too tight
