Of course, it will be easy to lead this lovely "International-style" turn with your body, not just the frame itself. For the leaders..... The figure usually starts with 1-3 of the Natural Turn. The "spin" takes place on steps 4-5 as you "pivot right", and then, the back step on 6 to end the figure. Stride rather strongly back on step 4--and at the same time, and use CBMP (hip will turn to the R) on steps 4-5, in order to make the spin "effortless"--leading-wise.

I know the Natural Spin Turn. The mantra is - steps 1-3 - regular natural turn action. On steps 4 to 5 - a bit of an extra pivot to R on first LF and then RF (as if you are overturning something - but generally the amount is 3/8 more of an extra pivot on steps 4-5), and then a step-back on LF - without closing the feet. So the figure has a continuity ending. The rise and fall in steps 4-6 are the same. Rise at start of step 4 in the commencing "spin turn" - and at the end of the spin turn, lower at end of step 6.

I also observed your amalgamation with the Spin Turn: Natural Spin Turn > Back Closed Change (roughly steps 4-6 of a Reverse Turn) > Forward Closed Change. Repeated 2 more times. Last time concludes with final spinout of Lady to acknowledge the audience if this was a dancesport situation. But in this situation be sure you only do that as the music ends - not before. (That is - not too early)

Dear Natalia, thanks for your question. Yes, Natural Spin Turn in Quickstep is very similar to Waltz. There are differences in timing or rhythm and rise and fall. Rhytm in Quickstep is SQQSSS. Hope it helps. Egils
