Thanks for that, really helpful. Guessing the choice of blade helps,..... you used a fairly rigid one, whereas I have used a fairly flexible/thin blade for Mackerel and other bony fish? Happy to buy Gurnard now, looking forward to trying one.

Absolutely great video! Love fish... could eat it at breakfast lunch and dinner every day! Today I bought a beautiful Gurnard. When I gutted it I noticed it was full of worms (curled up and encysted in the meat, 2-3 cm in length and veeeery similar to Anisakis). Is it common for this specie to have these parasites?
