The best live performance of this work I've ever heard!

It is really nice, I’m enjoying it hugely! There are so many unknown and underrated musicians out there, especially from Asia. (At least, I’m sorry to say, unknown to me until now.) Even the famous, big-name musicians don’t necessarily play better, more musically, or more passionately (or even as well). The more I listen the more I agree with you, this is a fantastic performance. It’s not just technically fantastic and beautifully played, but also musically intelligent, passionate and emotionally expressive. Here’s another unknown gem that’s worth checking out though, on a different instrument so not a direct competitor. It’s a recent performance by Mikyung Sung (double bass) with Ilya Rashkovskiy from Seoul: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJqli6J7f8-Dhsk (I think she would do very well in Japan. She is unknown there so far, but still gets more visitors to her website from Japan than from Korea. I am hoping to help her find a manager in Japan.)

Honestly, I've been listening to Yuja Wang and Capuçon or Lynn Harrel, and I think I agree with you

와... 정말 멋진 연주예요. 섬세하면서도 무게감있네요.

There are few chamber pieces that are as sweetly beautiful as this composition. Yuki Ito is a remarkable talent. Thanks so much for posting!
