@@PoE2Boss Ran my first 15 with this set up. this is a great build that makes you a iron tank! my gear is not as good as yours yet but I went from about 2500ES 3kmana to 3350ES (that comes back, instantly) and 3,943 mana. just so everyone knows this is a very different build then you are getting from other content creators it is very balanced and might feel a bit odd compared tot he 100k damage builds that everyone is running . one thing I did play with and change up a bit was running persistence rather then considered casting in spark. I think I will carry Considered casting for boss fights but having faster attack speed and longer lasting sparks seems to feel better to me on wide open maps I am sure I will get some upgrades that will boost my cast speed while using CC but the difference for me between .27 and .32 seemed pretty substantial for only 3k dps. MORE SPARKS! any way Love this series its exactly what this old guy needed to survive this game! thanks for you hard work I know how hard it is to make these videos.

Your gear will come keep pushing those T16's with irridated and corruption with boss and ritual for those 20 gems. They are free :) Breeches and Annointed maps for free simulacrum splinters. 1 Simulacrum is going for 300 + exalts. Run them i bet they worth more if you beat it. Kosis if the same will need kiting and never ever stand in his black aoe ability

So I'm doing the same build and would like to share my feedback/suggestions to further optimize. I would personally drop The maximum energy shield % nodes to further the damage and go for jewel sockets. Because of how conversion works in PoE, it only affects the end result stat. So in this case we're going from energy shield --> mana, Modifiers only affect the end result (mana in this case). So while the energy shield % nodes help because of everlasting gaze, it only provides just that. (waste of points IMO, but if u need the survivability sure). To test this, you can take a point off a node off energy shield and see ur mana doesnt change at all, which is damage for us. You can save 9 points from the top side of the tree (Enhance barrier area) and keep the jewel sockets, route yourself on the same line as heavy buffer and down all the way to Wild storm on the right side of the tree. This is more optimal for MY play, since i need more damage and my defenses are enough (especially with CI and Everlasting gaze). I can send a screenshot of my current tree to give an idea if needed.

You don't need to just yet. Ill do some testing but dont forget every 100 mana is 8% lightning damage. From Archmage. Jewels are giving like 600 dps tops, if you can get one with spell, ele, or lightning damage(of course im referring to double on the jewels). I'm not a fan of jewels for damage as the nodes there are generally int. Some of the big shots are ripping off a large portion of mana also in pinnacles. Thats the real money maps.

You're definately right here. I went from 5300+ ES to 3948. I knew the mana wouldn't be lost but grabbing "Wild Storm" with points and instead of Annointing 12 divs on a amulet is nice since it's a 25%+ dps upgrade with the new pathing. Now it's time to find a real jewel. Gonna need a good unique that can get me 40 Spirit Can you help?? This will optimize this into something insane if the 40 spirit can be found on one jewel. I'm not a jewel expert as I haven't been able to play much OO

So... on the helmet showcase, since u grab the "Eldritch Battery" Notable on the tree, every ES on gear will be added to your mana too (+# to Maximum Energy Shield Works too for amulets, not #% Increased), so we're looking for a sum of all: +1 Energy Shield = +1 Mana / +1 Mana = +1 Mana / +1 Intelligence = +2 Mana, this way, a helmet with 150 ES + 150 Mana + 25 Intelligence will result in a 350 Mana Helmet (W/O the increases we get on the tree)

The weird thing is. That increased es on the tree for the focus of over 200% gives nothing(6 points). Thats weird. I specifically should get over 600 es alone(bonus) from that but instead it gives literally nothing. It works if unspec some things. But its legit busted. Those bonuses will not activate. I don't understand why that doesn't convert 1 point to mana or es the build anywhere. Can you help with that? It's literally 600+ ES that works before something breaks it.

@@PoE2BossI think I know why, it’s your amulet, that’s why you aren’t seeing a straight 1 to 1 ES to mana conversion, similarly on my set up with ghostwrthe I only get a small ES conversion to mana and then I get an addition 3K ES from the chest & another 3K from amulet

That's something we need to adress, the Global/Local mods and Conversion, the Tree ES nodes, will apply to your Global ES (The ES u will have above the life bar) not to the Items ES. Using Eldritch Battery will cause u to Throw all your BASE ES on gear to your mana (so, no ES above the life bar), but ure using the Everlasting Gaze, this ammy will convert part of your mana to ES (we cannot infinite convert mana>es>mana>es), this way, youre scaling just the ES from your Amulet, try to Unspec Eldritch Battery just for knowledge, your ES should jump to prob 10k+

@@ViniLemos What makes this tricky is things like the passives for focus getting bonus are broken for now on they build. The literally give zero to everything. Warding fetish and dreamcatcher at the top on the ends of tree pretty much. There is also a helmet that gives Eldritch Battery. But I want to do something special its about 20 divs total to see it so im saving. Made 4 so far LOL

Hey for the Final Barrage node, on my tooltip it actually shows as a DPS decrease I think it’s because if you are CI it considers you full life all the time and you get 10% reduced cast speed, and I think you can’t even get the buff for when on low life

Edit: actually if you look at the skill “advanced info” there is no change when I respect 3 points worth 12% cast speed, the node show as a dmg buff to the skill when looking at the tree but on the info for the skill there’s no change to cast time (I do think I feel like I’m casting spark a bit slower, so maybe it’s a display issue)

i understand why you went this path but doing this i lost exactly 24k DPS. I am lv 91 having 54k DPS on spark and going to 30k is insane loss but i do like your content, im not raging or anything. Just sharing Keep up the good work

I know its a loss but it must be the direction they want for balancing. I'm sure within a week or two we will see a patch notes that will change some things. There are also many gems not available right now. This is a solid start and we probably won't see any / many nerfs as I tried to stay away from abusing stuff. AT 95 your looking at 200 spirit and running Cast on shock with something or Elemental Conflux. It's not cheap but we going all in with no Sapphire unique. I don't think Cast speed being best choice for DPS is the best for us, and it starts hitting some caps around, .30 sec. You can fix it with the unique belt if both rings have good res and High cast speed, but you would rebalance the other items, Look to unique helms with +30 Spirit corrupts. Those will be affordable and the only way to get to 200 Spirit.

I used considered casting. However, if I was high budget. I would have two and they both are 10+ div annoints. Lucky on non critical strikes would roll each damage twice and keep the best. You can search "lucky" up top in the passive search bar. It's near the South Eastern side of tree from center. Maximum Resistances +1 would be ideal for all bosses and pinnacles. Searched by "maximum resistances", located on the west side from center. Otherwise stay under 1 div and Fix what you think it's lacking.

The ES helm has 158 moire ES, the mana helm has 112 mana. There is VERY little %mana scaling as opposed to ES scaling... and Eldritch battery is converting the ES to mana... its a no brainer. At 94, I have 5134 ES and 5166 Mana... Just got the Ingenuity belt and two Breach rings... it's just insane... just melt corrupted t16 maps and bosses... tooltip of 60k dps... more cast speed is my goal.

Soul Offering combined with archmage is very solid helps dps a ton (what I’m running). Obviously need the spirit but I’m trying to get 3 sets of spirit passives with the jewels would help if you could go over the radius jewels. Solid video tho

@ ya you run 2 Skeletal Clerics with Last Gasp and then Soul offering with Danse Macabre to increase spell damage a ton. The only thing I was saying about the jewels was that’s there’s certain ones like Against the Darkness Timelost and Grand Spectrum Emerald which also can give more spirit to allow for a third spirit passive but I’m not there yet since there super rare and expensive to buy

@@kylenader7276 Not gonna lie to you. To fit that on this build. Your gonna need at least 60 more spirit on the Chest while still pulling down at least 900 ES. Then swapping in some jewels, you're probably looking at 200 Div build by then. With current drop rates and being able to clear anything, I won't be attempting it until we get more balance on the drop rates with less rarity. I'm sure that is coming before launch though. I'd rather just dump another 100 spirit into the build and run conflux and optimize those when lightning is rotated in. I'm sure 40 spirit on jewels can bbe gained I just haven't looked tbh. I stay pretty busy. Last three days about 1 map completed maybe. LOL

You get a bunch of passive points from side bosses in the campaign

there are some stats on passive tree that tooltip dps doesn't calculate. for example skill effect duration which is big on bosses. also you can get to 100% chance to chain effect as well which helps on map clearing. also you can anoint a "lightning damage is lucky" node on amulet which is around 30% more damage but also doesn't show on tooltip.

Map clear isn't an issue. Lucky is to expensive for me right now I already can run w/e inlcuding all content. Those deli annoints are free over time. With a build like this its a literal rags to riches story. Don't feel insulted. 6 points to chain on non bosses is an issue, we want more dps on bosses from those 6 points. Not broken stuff either. Legit more dps to kill faster measured in seconds. I suggest looking for the pinned comment that has mentioned wild shards as I just grabbed it and lost 1350ish ES to get more than a 30% dps increase on the build. New dps not buffed is 41,783 now. Thats not a cast speed buff either. Thats a raw 25%+ DPS HIT damage increase. That was a pro tip from him :) I know the build can survive and I may cut a part of the Passive video out(the 5 passive point spend). Because it's 8 points to get to Wild Storm. And enhanced barrier was kept and a jewel is added and im guessing 40 spirit will appear and we get elemental conflux added in as a spirit buff If i can find the 40. Then the level 92 build will be done.

My opinion is play what you want and have fun. It won't even matter until like level 80+ the Passive trees are sweet. Easy to know what you want :) We are gonna get a lot of changes so if you see builds with x million dps i'd prob stay away tbh. The only builds that should prob have legit million dps might be melee, and that might be to much. Just don't forget to change relative to exalted orbs in trade if you use it. New characters can make a lot of currency to :) I think they will bring a lot more balance to this game than PoE has that 1 line text for patch is kind of a big deal, to exclude CI from low life variables on the tree and prob some unique items.

How can you get so much ES (and the blue HP bar)? Does it have to do with certain ES nodes I don't have on my build? I'm lvl 82 only have about 1300 HP 2.2k mana running much of the same nodes nodes as you such as Eldritch Battery and Mind over Matter. I picked up the unique circlet giving me some actual energy shield with it but I still feel very squishy sometimes and my mana drains pretty quickly (probably due to a +6 item staff I'm wielding). How could I up my HP and mana cause even if I would grow 5 levels around the same as your current character I feel I wouldn't nearly hit those numbers in shield, HP or mana. Great info again cheers.

i think u need the unique amulet, everlasting gaze to have loads of shielding, similar effect could be ghostwrithe chest piece but obviously u will lose even more mana that way, try finding mana regen on ur rings and amulet, it really helps the early game, a good ring in the early game will be around 150 mana and 50% mana regen and some resistances and with everlasting gaze ud have over 150% manaregen + whatever is on ur tree

The staff just isn't optimal. If you use it you cant grab a couple free suffix you need like res. Look at the budget gearing video. Before any trading on the site always switch Relative to Exalt for now, so you don't see everything over ten exalted price set to 1 divine, this will apply to the focus and the Wand for sure. You can probably grab a +4 with Cast Speed and mana for under 20 ex(wand). The focus should have +1 spell skills and maybe some lightning damage. Focus is the 2nd to last piece you buy when you character balance. You should watch it so you understand the order of items and why. If you do it wrong rings will be stupid high price. From needing to much res on them. My boots only had 30% movespeed and 6% fire res and it still balanced np :) One ring with cast speed and one with mana is pretty mandatory. If you don't at least have that when you cap res on them the build will be weaker from missing it.

Basically on this build all ES is converted into mana, and vice versa. Base stats on gear like 801 ES chests with no mana are pumping us up 1000+ ES(more ES would be gained from what is shown in the passives video) and 1000+ max mana. So any items that have ES on them naturally like helm, focus, boots, and body are double dipping. High es is good on them and Mana is converting to ES. It's tricky. Mana the stat is scaling mana and es but the es gets a little more than mana does. Funny how it all works.

love your videos, personally I like taking Wildstorm for the huge damage increase, which also allows me to pick up Eternal Youth (Life flask applies to energy shield) allowing me to forgo all the ES recharge nodes. I also pick up icebreaker while over here. Have you tried this?

I forgot all about wild storm. I ran to it in my Arc build earlier. Thanks for pointing this one out. I'm not sure what is better. Wildstorm or "Lucky" on non crits. You can filter luck in the tree and find it to the south east of center. That one would be very strong as well, but "more" is huge. I'd love to hear your with and without damage and what build you play. Removing the amulet for without.

@@PoE2Boss I run Arcane Tempo, acceleration, inspiration, considered casting and controlled destruction (30% more damage but cannot crit). I annoint acceleration (move speed and 10% actionspeed) I personally love being able to use life flasks (49% applied instantly) as CI, has saved me from many of the on-death effects when I'm being careless.

Have u tried the build? It's in a really good spot for 87 and 92 respectively. Cast speed is a little overpowered as it is literally the best multiplier you can get on dps. .25 Seconds seems to be the soft cap. I tried a T16 with +50 Elemental res and I can tell you for sure, the pen and exposure is working like it should and applying like I said also. 3rd ritual I died because I had to stop to curse and i know i stopped casting for a sec to do so and 3rd part of ritual is like an empowered version. EA is for testing. From what I saw in that T16 with +50 elemental res on monsters. I'm just gonna say, all monsters in t16's have a base res of 75. I can show the difference very easy with this build, just by showcasing a map like that

@@PoE2Boss ​ mhh i personally like branching bolts, the path towards it gives 100% chain effect which improves clear by alot and isnt far off, also which annoinment? your amulet is good for early but the + lvl 2 level to spark also offers a alot value since it will add more projectiles and dmg (no clue if your focus had + lvl). The only thing thats highly illegal is not taking grim feast, just too much value on ES and breaches. just get some spirit from your body armour >30 isnt hard to get. still nice build thank you for the video :) added: check out eternal youth, its maybe smth for your build

one more thing the dps shown is not a great indicator for the actual damage a build does, for example pierce and chaining isnt taken to account (and much more) path of building comes out soon should be much better to get an overview of your builds dps

don't just look at the number increase. chaos inoculation don't work with low life. so you're just reducing your attack speed because you're always full life.
