I learn SO MUCH from watching these and find your voice super relaxing. Thanks David!

This is what's awesome about youtube, it's always fascinating to hear masters explain their craft, even if could count the times I've played scrabble with one hand.

I love the end game analysis. I've learned so many new words. Well i learn them for a few days at least 😅

35:31 I don't think you realized one of them played at L2 (PEcTASE)? That would avoid the potential for both triple-triples and X/Z-bombs on column 8.

Type the "POOL" command to output the tile pool at any point in the game.

Why would your opponent at 4:50 play quiet, when he had quite in the same spot for 10 more points? Was he that scared of the tripple word square?

20pts sacrificed actually but that just makes ur pt stronger - even more so if u take into acc opps deficit at that moment 🫢

I like the post-production edit from cross tables showing rack leave evaluation. One thing it doesn't take into account though is that with JUNK, you also hamper the triple word score for opponent. You reasoned that well during game, but didn't include during analysis. That's all to say that sometimes the evaluation is not as important as board tactics

If one considers the board leave as well, I think JUNK was a better play.

id call that board dynamics - board leave is still a fair assessment tho 😅

Huh, you don't usually win the games when the video is 40 or so minutes. I guess technically the video WASN'T over 40 minutes, so my theory of "David always loses when the video is over 40 minutes" still holds, but it's much weaker than I once thought.
