Hi, i tried this on my External Hard drive but the problem i am having is This PC doesnt show a dismount for External Hard drive and i have tried to eject it from the task bar it still wont do it. And as i take the External hard drive out i get BSOD. So could u plz help on this?

right bottom side , click on the arrow pointing up ^ , there should be private public blue eject icon , click on it and safely remove the encrypted partition first then the non encrypted from ''safely remove media icon.

One problem. When I try to eject or take out my usb stick my Windows 10 goes to a blue screen and says it has encountered a problem and is sending a report soon and wait for a restart. How can I stop this and for there to be no problem?

first test with a differnt USB then a different PC , if the issue is still there search the BSOD code on google.

No code, it gets to 100% and just won't restart or give any info or say it has sent any report. However, I think I've solved it. For some reason, I followed your instructions on ejecting the usb stick and your computer is fine after pressing continue, but mine goes to the BSOD. However, on both my laptop and both my usb sticks, if I click the Lacie icon and dismount the private-public drive then I can go and eject the usb stick without the BSOD. So for some reason I need a 2 ejections (one of each drive) and you only need one.

Yes to dismount , eject the PP partition first & then the non encrypted partition.

I can't comment on android security as I have not much experience in android OS security. To my understanding if you protect a ppt on computer and try to open in android OS then it should prompt you to decrypt it .

Yes it's possible , if the HDD is formatted in NTFS that is accessible on Mac OS.

what if someone deletes lacie files from inside the external drive youre using ? ..will the encrypted part like..get deleted or remain hidden until someone again puts the lacie file on it and types in the right password ?

if the lacie file is deleted then the encrypted data partition will be deleted as well , i see it as a security feature , you can hide that file for normal users.
