You can use DiskCryptor or VeraCrypt

@@DanielsGaming1 if I remember, those two apps makes use of a vault or partitions encryption, I think encryption makes more problems when cloning drives when trying to upgrade to a larger dive or making image backups. I think try rather stick to file level encryption and use a backup app to encrypt backup image files rather.

Very misleading video. Bit locker is ONLY available on windows 10 PRO. The majority of people will have windows 10 HOME. You will have to pay to upgrade to Pro to get this feature. Pretty silly mistake to make.

Only encrypt the files that you specifically need encrypted! A usb 3 drive will be much faster for operations.

Hi Lee. I have windows 10 prof. I tried this but cannot get this to show bitlocker drive encryption. I looked into "services" and went down the list to bitlocker encryption service. if you right click on it and click properties you will see there are 4 settings. 1, Automatic (delayed start) 2, Automatic. 3, Manual. 4, and Disabled. Please can you tell me what yours is on?? Many Thanks in advance.

Hi, mines set to manual triggered. Try typing bitlocker in the search box near start button. From there it open a bitlocker manager and you can enable it on your drives.

You basically can't. The only way is to reset your USB drive. I did that as well, but make sure to remove all your files from your USB before resetting it.
