Ha ha! I held my breath for a moment when your kitty was heading towards James Joyce! If I tried this with my cat, she would suddenly develop a temporary aversion to snacks, just to annoy me!

I audibly gasped when I thought your cat was going to pick Dubliners lmao, after all you do for her!! Stoner is the worst book I’ve ever read but I feel like fans of Kazuo Ishiguro (particularly Remains of the Day) will love it. I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes for you, particularly after critical acclaim from Gem!

Yes, she was a rescue. She was on the streets, then worked her way into a prison as a mouser, then she was too friendly for the prison so they took her to the shelter where we met her 😻
