It is hard to catch past and future tense because the pictures do not correspond with the teacher’s gestures. In fact gestures are opposite of the spoken tense. It would be better if the cursor was used rather than hand gestures. Or gesture future by pointing forward from the teacher and past point behind the teacher.

I thought that you subscribed to a long silent period before speaking? Your pronunciation in the videos is pretty bad. 555. I see that this was 2 years ago so that's probably changed.

555, yes, the method the channel now currently promotes is a long silent period. When I first started I didn't understand the method at all, although I thought I did. Did lots of early output from Day 1. The process I took was mostly comprehensible input, but it wasn't ALG. That's why you don't see me speaking Thai on the channel as a shining example of ALG, because I didn't do ALG, 555. When I started I wanted to do ALG, but the content wasn't available outside of Bangkok at that time. There was no online ALG. So I did what I could based on what I understood, and it was something like mass immersion supplemented by picture description sans silent period.
