The ending segment "Two greats, maybe in time two of the greatest" Karrigan & NiKo are two of the greatest to ever touch this game already. They are your SpawNs, Pottis, HeatoNs, XeqtRs, fRoDs, walle's and the list goes on and on of old players you can still name almost 20 years later. I'm 29, when I'm 50 I will still remember the greatness karrigan brought to TSM when they couldn't win anything and his success with the first good international lineup, and I will always remember NiKo as the greatest rifler to ever touch the game.

For me the big thing is that NiKo made the mismanagement in G2 official, otherwise good video. I expected NiKo kinda switched because of that, G2 just does easy, sometimes emotional decisions that make no sense. There’s the same mismanagement problem he later also mentioned in earlier Faze, this kinda proves it was a coaching problem though. It’s unfortunate for NiKo. Maybe he has some luck with Falcons

@6:25 the real answer is age is just a number especially when it comes to video game's more importantly is the passion you have for it because no matter what age you are if you do not have the passion you will not last long in anything, And than there's dedication and willingness to sacrifice =Family or any Real Life stuff plus health. Imo anyway
@swetdep3 ай бұрын
though age does hit as far as i know, one loses reaction speed by age, which is vital for cs (i don't really know anything else about age and skills used in esports) i believe that age is just a tradeoff from motor skills, like aim and reaction speed, to experience, like reading your opponent.
@disintegratesintobinary6553 ай бұрын
@@swetdep The reaction time thing is not 100%. The current data is based on reaction times of normal people, which is a totally different population to pro cs players (as they all have extremely quick reaction times and constantly use it), we cannot say for sure that reaction time for pro players actually has a huge drop off or not. The capacity to practice is probably a huge one too, older players that are slowly falling into igl positions are not grinding out dm for hours a day; karrigan said that he just doesn't have the ability to play as much as years ago.
