NiKo is Counter-Strike's most unbelievable, heartbreaking anomaly.
Despite being one of the best players of all time, his legacy is still in question - because when it matters most, NiKo just can’t win.
The first CS2 Major in Copenhagen was NiKo’s best shot at starting fresh - at kicking the door open and entering the new game as a legend.
And yet, with redemption at hand, everything slipped out of NiKo’s reach once more.

Showing the "shut up" clip as an example for bad temper is disingenuous, that's him after a round has ended trying to call a strat while his teammates are arguing about the previous round

incredibly stupid to use the clip at 16:24 as "volatile temper" Niko was trying to call and chrisJ + (i think) denis were still arguing about the last round and using up freeze time Context is very important

9:23 What? Neither of these were write-offs for G2. With Antwerp, they had just acquired m0nesy and AleksiB, and had been in the final of Katowice. For Paris, they had WON KATOWICE ONLY DROPPING ONE MAP prior to the major. Neither of these majors were write-offs

Fate or not, his weaknesses are obvious, especially his mindset towards the game, which came clear during the SG meta. A dude one-taps you with zoom = bullshit, according to NiKo. Why? The hitbox is same size. Do Yekindar and K0nfig diss all 4:3 stretched users, because they have more zoom level? There are also plenty of clips were he misses sprays on people running past him, possibly because of the jerkiness of 400dpi & super low sens. We are talking about sprays that most well-rounded T1 pros basically never whiff. It's almost poetic that he built his career on pixel-precision, and his career's biggest whiff is a Deagle-shot like 1 pixel off (although there's no guarantee they would have won the final map).

this guy was on his peek many years ago, when playing with karrigan, ropz, rain, etc. look at his facial expressions during that time, and now. he was one of the goats at some point, but just like simple we also have to stop overhyping things, when its time to. there is no point besides monesy right now to be excited about anything around g2.

On the other hand dev1ce is deffinetly not the goat xD We all know that s1mple is the undisputed monster, and i would personally put niko in second place. In 5 years, the conversation might look very different.

why did you have to paint the narrative that he's toxic and difficult off the server? his former teammates have only ever had good things to say about him -- 15 minutes worth of research would have answered that for you.
