Fate or not, his weaknesses are obvious, especially his mindset towards the game, which came clear during the SG meta. A dude one-taps you with zoom = bullshit, according to NiKo. Why? The hitbox is same size. Do Yekindar and K0nfig diss all 4:3 stretched users, because they have more zoom level? There are also plenty of clips were he misses sprays on people running past him, possibly because of the jerkiness of 400dpi & super low sens. We are talking about sprays that most well-rounded T1 pros basically never whiff. It's almost poetic that he built his career on pixel-precision, and his career's biggest whiff is a Deagle-shot like 1 pixel off (although there's no guarantee they would have won the final map).

Yes, in CS2 where even the best awpers in the world prefer to play with rifles due to how stupid the widepeek/ferrari peek meta is, which is also Donk's playstyle. And which great awpers did Donk have to overcome in his major run? Ultimate? Torzi? Broky? Add to all that the fact Donk is a generational talent who may end up being the best player of all time, and it's not really saying anything to say that he won the major with a pretty blessed playoff run after barely qualifying for the major.

If you replayed every single one of those playoff series again ten times, I would expect Spirit to win each of them at least seven times out of ten. That is what I mean by a blessed playoff run. Liquid, MOUZ, and FaZe are all teams that Spirit are expected to beat, even if you were to just look at their head-to-head records if nothing else. Faze's legacy run on their half of the bracket, beating Vitality and G2, was a very unexpected outcome totally against the form. When I say Spirit barely qualified for the major, they very nearly did screw it up for themselves in the RMR. That combined with Valve's late changes to the qualification structure, dumping BIG back into the opening stage so that Spirit could go directly to the playoffs, is pretty blessed, wouldn't you say? And all this still manages to completely miss the very valid point I made in my response here regarding the lack of top tier awpers around right now in cs2, no doubt due to how much worse cs2 is than csgo. Next time you want to reply to me, engage your brain first and come off the narcotics, OK, pleb?
