i really like the effort put into this video, probably one of the best or most enjoyable to watch videos about a game thats dying each passing day. althought that in the start a lot of effort was put, throught the years the effort was lost and eventually lead to a dev team completely ruining its own game.

The way the map works is that a little bit beyond the red line is still actually the map, so you could still drive on it, but after that it’s just a projection, usually in games called the “skybox” or something. Basically it’s not real, you can’t drive on it. You can actually see where this occurs. If you go to the red line on a flat open map, you can see where the skybox and the real map are “stitched” together, so to speak.

I might be a bit late, but I might hold the answer for this. Yes, we can move across the border and maybe even survive, but we won't be able to explore. So first of all, beyond the boundaries are a huge octagonal or a square map which has the square map we usually live in inside, but we have to overcome the border. It is easier said than done, but crossing the border is completely possible. You see, tanks don't 'move'. They teleport in the right position and angle every few miliseconds. If the tank is glitched or fast enough, so fast that the hitbox never got to make contact with the border between those few miliseconds, you will be able to go through the border. Simple as that. But exploring is a different problem. I've made some experiments but the broken tanks seems to always go through the floor and fall down forever. The tank looks stationary but the smoke effect is stretched so bad that I saw two small clouds above the engine. It seems they are not defined as an object and tanks will probably just go through. Also the tank automatically destroys when the game detects something strange. The tank got destroyed after a moment I flew above the stratosphere, and saw the map below me.

It it possible to get out of the map borders but currently no one survived yet. But u simply land far away from the map borders if u want to drive outside the map. The map is actually tooooo small when u glitch. And also planes flying don't have any collision model, so u can't land on them - u'll just fly through them, unfortunately. But map borders don't have infinite height - that's for sure.

welp, digitally, the maps on WoTB are like Chess Boards, beyond the red line, its still stomp-able with tanks, but as u get into the blurred graphics of the map, u started falling to the void, just like when a pawn falls under a chessboard on A table, but it is theoritically possible to go beyond the red lines, some Russian guys did it (i think its the same guy that run BlitzHub, i think its AlekThink or something, good climbing contents), also just like some other games out there, if u fell under the ground with "normal" speeds, you'll most likely drown urself cuz some maps have waters, and when u no-clipped into the ground you'll reach the water level and simply drown (just like what happened in New Bay and Naval Frontier). Same here my dream is to simply Drive freely without any obstacles -including the red lines- and roam freely around the map (perhaps even going to Castilla and drive on my own to the Mines map), it would also be cool if these blurred textures weren't textures at all but still solid ground, or atleast an object we could step on it, although in some cases like Naval Frontier there's still ground underneath the blurred textures. Btw u could actually climb the mountain with the train bridge on Alpenstadt on Mad Games with tanks that have the Thruster ability (blue one)

I once glitched out of the roof from the barrier. I drove off it and the void does not have a hitbox. You just fall for eternety. But this was when gravity jump was first introduced so there might be a hitbox now. Idk

I was the boss and I drove into a glitch spot on dead rail for the funny and pretty much got teleported, when I was falling out the sky i saw I was pasted the red line. However when I landed my phone crashed, it's possible but you'll need luck, like a lot of luck
