@Ricardo Cadet they actually love the cat being around... I mean, look at the cat, she is healthy and I'm pretty sure the people who lives there are giving her enough food and water... The only concern is the mean stray cats and dogs who also lives in the area since she is afraid that they would hurt her like what happened to her male cat friend... Other than that, she is well and looks healthy because of the people who takes care of her

You can see that a lot of them really cared for the cat. But as they said, some has allergies. Some has no experience in taking care of pets (which is a hugeeee responsibility which they may not be ready for). And it looks like there are some residents who look like they are living alone and only have enough fees to take care of themselves.

I don't take strays because I know that they have a mission and they also have friends that will miss them, but I do give them food and water to keep them wandering, I know a cat who looks for potential owners and so far nobody has asked to be adopted.

I think there was a fear since there is no knowlegde Which is good since they don't see it as something easy I know alot of cases where people adopt cause it is cute but aren't ready for the responsibily that comes after Hope they could get more information about how to take care of a pet and overcome that fear

Cats are expensive though. It’s not just space they have to offer, they need the extra money to spend on a cat. I feed an outdoor cat and he costs me $300/400 a year in food and misc/meds.

"We've never had a cat before." That's true of everyone at one time or another. You have to start somewhere. Danpoon actually looks like she would be great for a first-time caretaker. She's already properly socialized with humans and she's old enough and calm enough that she's not a complete handful like a kitten would be. Looks like there would be plenty of people in that building ready, willing and able to give advice.

@@varga203 of course we do not know them personally but God sent this cat to these people. All the nearby cats and dogs are well-fed in my community. If some obyser cat appears I take that cat to my home to socialize it. It depends on the hearts of people.

Oh God. The mother may have all sort of doubts and worries that don't need to be spread on camera. Maybe she is just not a cat person, maybe she's concerned with expenses already (she can't or she won't just take off money from her daughter future), maybe whatever. Her daughter is likely in school for most of the day and she'll likely move away for college, while cats live up to 20 years... Guess who will have to take care of the cat.

The cat is not thin either so she gets enough food and water from the people who lives there... The only problem is those other stray who don't like the cat or that dog who killed her cat friend... They could have build atleast a nice kitty house outside for her to sleep on though... All of the people lives in there can play with the cat as well once in a while if they have time or if they want to relax... The cat won't mind since she loves humans

Its not like you could just take a cat in If you are living in a rented apartment. Many landlords don't allow their tentants to have pets. If you get one anyway they can kick you out of the house. Plus caring for a cat takes time and money. Many people would love to have a cat but they just can't afford it or they just don't have enough time.... It is not as easy as you think. There are many things to be considered before getting a pet.

My cat died because dogs killed him mercilessly. I don't want to elaborate because it will break my heart and will make me cry once more. But you know what, I have two dogs at home. I hate the thought at first but I learned to love dogs. Even after that. Not all dogs are the same.

No one really wants to take care of this sweet cat. They are all just interested in spending a few minutes with the cat until they get tired of her. What about 1 person in this whole building who has got the courage to take on the cat and care for her? And let her spend the nights in her/his flat, too? Takes her to the vet, if necessary? And drives off the alpha cat? This cat needs a real home, not just little favours. Please, do care for this cat. It is worth it. Thank you.
