Hi Michelle I'll be sure to direct all the people who ask "What do I do with...pastels?" to your tutorial. So simple and elegant. Thank you I always reply " Break them and play with them of course!" and they look at me in horror for some reason. But then I laugh and let them know that I've been using pastels for more than 40 years and that pastels are my favourite art medium. When the kids at school use them for art lessons, I play too, under the guise of supporting my students. I tend to get in trouble for not putting my name on the back though - I can't work out why it upsets the teacher so much (*grin*).
