Can’t believe I forgot to comment! Love this so much! I have mixed feelings about working with the LOL dolls myself but this just proves it’s the artist that has the final say, not the canvas! You are one of my top favourite doll/art KZbinrs, please take your time to make content but also please never stop! Your videos always inspire me especially when I hit art block!

Honestly, I love your 'shitty materials' process. It's relatable! This is a hobby and fun and interesting! It lets me know that I could probably do this with the materials I have! (I'm a mini painter sometimes, I feel like we have a lot of transferable skillsets LOL). anyway, all this to say, don't feel the need to upgrade. :) I love seeing the process with what you have!

@@randeerepaints3403 That's so awesome to know! I had been so worried about MSC not working correctly where I live due to the humidity, and that kept me from diving into repainting altogether. On top of that it sounds like MSC is getting really hard to find now. I'm so very happy to know that a top coat of MP works to finish as well! (Was always worried about water-based sealant on top of water based paints). Now I just need to get a moderate set of acrylic colors (maybe Arteza?) and re-learn how to paint. THANK YOU!!!

ALSO, the fact that blushing w/ chalk pastels works w/o MSC AND that using a water based sealant over it doesn't ruin it is incredible!

Yeah luckily it sticks to the vinyl! You can't build up the pigment as much as you can with MSC but I'm still happy with the results you can get
