Pastel Leopard Gecko Morph Review | GECKOPIA

Interesting video, my pastel mandarin tremper het eclipse male is the grandson of the first pastel too. Most say it's line bred but I'm starting to think it may be co dominant based on how the the offspring are when they hatch and no matter what 50% of the hatchlings have pastel when outcrossed. The colors also play out differently with different albinos the bell pastels aren't as pink and more dull with the more scale less effect and the pastel trempers are much brighter possibly because tremper is very yellow. The pinks though seem to pass down very well even when completely outcrossed with a non pastel based gecko with zero pastel lineage. I believe there may be something bigger going on in the gene which is why I'm testing some crosses and if it proves out to my hypothesis then I will continue testing the gene for how it works.

I have a pastel sunglow raptor I got from Ron tremper. I bred him once but female egg bound. Maybe this year.
