This is my 4th video performance on the Lawrence Public Library Modular Synthesizer. I played a volca beats through the modular for the percussive textures. I also processed the output of the modular through an old, warbly cassette deck.

When I've got my design up and running, I'm going to build a small modular system and donate it to either my local library or the culture cantre in town! I feel like making this kind of instruments accessible to more people could encourage music making among people who aren't trained or even that interested in music. I mean everybody I've met are intrigued by and drawn to these machines, even if they don't know how they work. Just playing around with a synth like this is an eye(ear)-opening experience.
