I agree, it´s a loss for the world not having him with us any more. He was not only a wonderful painter, he was also a fantastic teacher. It´s really interesting to see how he was working and to listen to him. An amazing talent!

🌷🌷🌷I remember the first time I saw his gallery, it was in the mall in northern California. I couldn't wait to go inside and see all the hidden treasures inside! 🌷🌷🌷I just fell in love with his great TALENT! I just knew he would die, because when you are that gifted, everyone wants to destroy what you Have!😂I felt like I couldn't breathe the day he passed away, there was TRULY a 🕯💡🕯💡🕯missing from the WORLD! I miss his talent, and his creativity!

I like this pastel because as you see while Thomas Kinkade does this painting, you can see the energetic drawing which makes the painting appear alive and spontaneous. Well done, Thomas!

Yes he is sadly missed. Tis a pity that too many youtube vids provide only a gallery or catalogue of his works but provide little insight into his approach to creating the paintings. This does help to fill in some of the void or mystery regarding the man. Thank you for posting this vid.

ironically i was in a shopping mall in Roseville, CA and walked by one of his art studio's and I just stopped for a few seconds and looked a some of his paintings. later that day i heard about his death. So sad. He was always one of my favorite artists and people,. God bless you Thomas.

Thomas, I think you were a great artist. As artists do, more often than not, they take the critics words so personal and I can understand why. Nobody has the right to demean another...I wish you'd have known that most "critics" are just bullies who are jealous of great talent. I know you are doing well where you are...I know you were a Christian and are in heaven painting all the beautiful things there...with no critics, just the Lord and the inhabitants there telling you what a precious gift you have. Shame on all of the critics for killing you, because THAT is what they did.

His paintings are very serene, and beautiful. Monet was the first painter of light, just stating a fact not criticizing. So since he was the first he is the painter of light. I was going to buy one of Thomas Kinkade's original paintings on ebay…this was before he died. But, my father had other plans with the money.

I like his little cottage, but would like to suggest you hit a museum and look at some of the masters. Many worlds of art out there. Klimt, Bonnard, Dali, Remington, Robert Riggs, and of course, the devastating Caravaggio.

He said he was painting on a canvas with the pastel(he’s a brilliant painter). I always thought you had to put pastel paintings behind glass, I appreciate some feedback on this subject if you don’t mind.

I paint with pastel regularly and I use sanded paper as it holds more color and when finished I seal it with lascaux pastel fixativ

I didn't even notice the music, I went back to make sure there was music. His brilliance & charisma as an instructor was amazing & I tuned out of the music & only heard him. To me, a good instructor can get your full attention & not even notice soft background music Great Artist of our time & there's no other to match him May God bless this great Artist.,

Sullivan Kinkade he was a fraud and he worshipped Satan! Thomas was not an artist, he could barely use the chalk, as you could see. He lost his mind because he made a deal with the devil and the devil won! FRAUD! God does not like ugly. I know you don't believe it and that's fine. Open your eyes and see Satan in this man and his work. Satan is laughing at him. I don't think he was a bad person. I think he was mislead and used. When we care so much about being a celebrity, we often times do whatever for the fame. Unfortunately, he was one of those who chose the wrong door. I actually trashed all of my collections I had of his. It is satanic and I didn't want it in my home. As I got older, and began to study art more seriously, I realized there is no way on God's green earth, this man did those oil paintings with all of the intricate detail. No way possible! Repent and pray says the Lord
