@@pedestrian_0 Yeah, but it was his fuck-up. To us, it's just a momentary oddity that doesn't clash that much with the backing harmony. It could easily be justified as improv, since it works. It's not "right", but it's not "wrong" either. It's not what he wanted to do, but it didn't stick out like a sore thumb

My gosh. This is how a song is performed after years of touring. Funny how that works - first you record and release an album, then you go out and tour and play the songs hundreds maybe thousands of times, eventually playing the songs better than they were ever recorded in the first place.
@H01YD1V3R5 жыл бұрын
Kevin S I mean it’s fantastic, but the guitarist messes up about 20 seconds in. I wouldn’t say that’s better. I do really like their “unplugged” sound. I wish more bands would do acoustic albums akin to this.

Saw them at the o2 at end of 2013, and it's still to date been one of my favourite gigs. Alex was wearing a black sequined tux blazer. For such a massive venue it was one of the few gigs were it felt like EVERYONE around me was jumping about and having the time of their lives. Not a single person standing idly (not that there's anything wrong with that). Just that you can't help but jump about when TDCC are playing. So glad they still sound so so crisp and effortless!

I can’t believe they came to Taipei, Taiwan. Bands never come to Taiwan. They go to Japan and Hong Kong (well, not lately with the unrest there), and they always skip US. The band was amazed by the crowd and so was I! People here loved them, and so many knew every lyric too. It was a blast. Small venue, so I was lucky. Hope they come back! They said they will. 👍🏻 Enjoy the show!
