when I met Justin I told him about my sobriety off of heroin for 4 1/2 years i told him how he inspired my sobriety I told him about my bipolar panic attacks anxiety and PTSD he told me he was proud of my sobriety he told me to be proud of myself he told me to never give in and keep up the good fight he told me he loved me and then he said a prayer 🙏 for me Whenever I want to use again I think of what he said and it makes me focus on my sobriety and then I don’t want to use thanks 🙏 so much Justin I love you brother

Blue October has been more than just a band for me. From the first song to the last I cant explain the motivation Justin has been for me. One of my biggest motivation for me writing my book SuccessLife. Going from a Veteran with PTSD to a regular guy that is able to wake up on a daily and tell myself "Today I don't have to fall apart" is what i love about my mornings.

Same for me with my depression and my mental state of always being on the edge of suicide. When I was 18, I just couldn't take anymore, just constant thoughts of how my life is shit, and everyone would be better without me, I was broken down and at the end. 2 am one night, I turned on MTV, just as Hate Me started to play. I listened to it, and it helped, I don't why, but it helped. I went to sleep, and woke up the next day. For the last 14 years, when ever I was at my limit mentally, I would just sit in a dark room and listen to Blue October, for hours and it helped me through it. Now I'm working on turning my life around. I've lost over 400 lbs and still losing, started a weight training program. But there is always that thought of not being good enough, of being alone and everything, and when it pops up, I listen to the songs, and I get through it.

Absolutely amazing. Simple Chording, seriously heavy lyrics. This session hits every emotion inside of me. I saw Justin perform these 3 at a local Vineyard in PA and I couldn't take my ears and eyes off of him. I saw BO many times and as powerful and kickass as they were, listening to JF with just his Martin and his vocals is a whole ridiculously killer level. I do two of these songs live at my shows.
